Got these set up to use my sonoff zigbee 3.0 dongle plus connected to my raspberry pi running home assistant and was able to get them all successfully set up. A few took longer than others to sync, and since I wasn't sure what was going on, I restarted my HA device a few times. Eventually they all configured. They are incredibly quick to respond when toggled, and work great when paired with motion sensors through automations. Will update my review if anything changes. Read more

These were purchased to help control additional Christmas lights throughout the house with my wife adding more garland and Christmas trees to her holiday mix. These have been in use now for about two months and have yet to drop off line. They quickly joined the Zigbee mesh and started acting as repeaters. These are a much easier and cheaper option than adding more dedicated in wall Zigbee outlets. I didn't need power consumption reporting for low usage LED lighting so these were perfect. When I need more smart plugs, I will be buying another 4 pack of these. Read more

These are fantastic modules, as long as you don't have too large of a network. The main limitation is that they generate a *lot* of redundant zigbee messages. I got to about 80 of them on a Zigbee2MQTT network with CC2652P7 coordinator (along with about 100 other devices) before the redundant messages started causing issues. If you have a small network, these are great. If you have a larger network, or just want the newer product I do strongly recommend the Sonoff S40ZB lite (make sure you don't mix up the zigbee & wifi versions) which is almost identical, but doesn't generate the redundant messages. These worked perfect with my Home Assistant (HASSIO) running on a Raspberry Pi 4 w/ Sonoff 3.0 Zigbee adapter. These outlets do not have any current/power sensing abilities. They don't claim to have them, but I just wanted to clarify in case anyone thought they did. Great value for the money! I recommend these over the newer ones because they can be flashed with different firmware if you wanted to do that. Read more

I used these with Home Assistant and setup was really easy. They work as a smart plug as intended. I did however, buy these to use as routers (repeaters) to bolster my Zigbee network and they do not pick up my other battery devices. The signal is way to low, even when close to the hub. I also could not turn off the LED status lights on the plugs which are bright. Read more

Bought a 4 pack. Each one plugged in, Smarthings app scanned and found it in a couple seconds. Renamed and set the room with all 4 done in under 5 minutes. Been in smart home for over 10 years and seen my share of problematic linking. This is as good as it gets. No need to add the Sonoff app, it works native in Smarthings. Read more
