Nice design and quality but not made for a plus sized foot and ankle which is a shame because they are very comfortable just too tight getting the circumference of my foot and ankle. I got it on but it was tight and I even 1/2 sized up which I recommend also for the toe area which also is uncomfortable if toes touch due to the hard round rubber toe. Read more

Comfortable, cushioned and excellent quality, like the Sorel brand is known for. My usual size is 10 in Sorel shoes. These are a 10, but seem just a little roomy. When I wear a thicker pair of socks the fit is perfect. My feet are often warm in boots, so being able to wear them without socks is preferred. These boots are a “clompy” due in part to their flat sole. The light grey is an attractive color. These booties are well made, sewn well with quality materials. I can’t speak to the waterproof quality, haven’t had rain to test them out. At first, they were a little difficult to slip my foot into. The wool is softer after use and there is a nice pull tab at the heel to help you slip into them. These shoes are quite durable and I expect they will last a very long time. Read more

These boots arrived and they looked exactly as I expected based on the photos here - no surprises there! The fit is true to size. I normally wear a size 9 and I ordered these in a 9.5 because I wanted extra room for an arch support insole and a thick winter sock. The 9.5 gives me a great fit under those conditions. If you do need arch support you will want an insert as these have a flat bottom. While the sole is thick and offers a lot of shock absorption it doesn't cushion or cradle the foot. The shoes are light weight, surprisingly light weight, given their profile, making them very comfortable to walk in. The sole has excellent traction! No slipping or sliding in these, they grab the ground. The collar around the ankle holds its shape, and has two elastic triangles on each slide, making these super easy to pull on. The quality of the build is exactly what you would expect from Sorel. I'd guess these will last forever just like all their boots do. Read more
