Idk why everyone rates some of these sorel boots as poor in the snow. I love these boots! They are very nicely made. Rubber material is nice at keeping watery and ice based snow at bay -specifically an issue you run into in Midwest snow is that it is wet and dense. I played outside in the snow with my kids with these on. They are not as warm as my cozy Uggs it’s true but they are waterproof and my Uggs are not. If you wear them with boot socks they are definitely as warm. They support your foot well-wore them around all day Black Friday shopping. I think they’re a great value for the money they definitely are going to hold up. For reference I normally wear 8.5-9 and tend to have a wider foot. I was concerned bc a lot of reviews of sorel mentioned how small and narrow it would be but I ordered a 9 and the size is perfect. There is extra space for sure but I want loose so I can fit boot socks on. Also keep in mind you can get the boot tighter with the laces-make them as tight or loose as you’d like. Easy to use you don’t have to lace them all the time if you keep the laces loose enough you can just slip them on! Love these SOREL waterproof boots. They are stylish and well made. I love the light tan color as they are neutral and will go with so many colors. The ties make them easy to get on and off and allows for a good fit. I usually wear a size 9 in other shoes (VIONIC and Clarks for comparison). This is the second pair of SOREL boots I have purchased and they seem to consistently run a little snug. I was able to try on the last pair and opted for a size 9.5. This time I just picked based on the price (thanks Amazon!) so I ordered another 9.5. They fit perfectly! They are comfortable and though I have not yet tested their waterproof ability, I am pleased so far! These were great. I got them for a 10 day trip to Alaska with warnings to expects lots of rain. Water proof shoes were highly recommended. I only had regular tennis shoes and I know there is nothing worse than cold wet feet. I did order these 1/2size up so I could wear warm socks. They fit perfectly and were comfortable from the start. Love the style and color and these boots are Truly Completely Waterproof! I had occasion, not purposely!, to stand in 3 inches of ice water and my feet were 100% dry ! Only took away one star, because even tho' I went up 1 size, they are fine in width but a bit short in length. Suggest go up size 1/2 or 2. Read more

I love SOREL boots and these are no different. I did size up a half size, but could have been ok ordering my true size. I don’t mind them a little roomy nice allows room for heavy socks. These keep my feet warm while standing in snow, with just a regular thickness sock. They are also very sturdy and have lots of ankle support. It also doesn’t hurt that they are super cute! I found these to be true to size but they were so STIFF I couldn’t imagine walking around in them. Maybe they need to be broken in but they’re too expensive to try that method so I returned them. They’re cute and the color is true to description. Easy to get on and off. Slip resistant. Not much warmth involved or padding. I bought theses for a trip to Ireland. I wore them in the city and out on the Wild Atlantic Way and they held up great. Very comfortable, great traction and stylish enough to wear with everything. Read more
