To begin with, I had the Wave, which is larger and somewhat cumbersome. However, the Soundcore Boom 2 has proven to be an exceptional and user-friendly surprise. The sound quality is outstanding, and the ability to customize the sound to my preferences is even more impressive. The controls are intuitive and user-friendly, and the device is constructed with durability in mind. Connecting to the Bluetooth on my smartphone was a seamless process. For the price, there is no comparable product. It is a worthwhile investment. Read more

If you're like me and love taking your tunes outdoors, the Anker Soundcore Boom 2 Plus is a game-changer. It's built tough, so it can handle sandy beaches, poolside splashes, and even a bit of rough handling without missing a beat. The rubberized exterior feels solid and gives me confidence that it can take on whatever adventure I throw at it. The sound is impressive. The Boom 2 Plus pumps out rich, powerful sound with deep bass and clear highs. Whether I'm cranking up the volume for a barbecue with friends or chilling out with some chill beats after a hike, the audio quality is consistently awesome. Plus, it handles loud environments like beaches or parks really well, which is a big plus for outdoor gatherings. Connecting to my phone is a breeze. I recently took it to the beach, and it was a hit. Even with people around chatting, the Boom 2 Plus cut through with clear sound. Its waterproof design meant I didn't have to worry about splashes, which made it a hit with everyone hanging out near the water. Now I'm counting down the days to our July 4th bash – this speaker is definitely coming along to keep the vibes going strong. If you're in the market for a speaker that's as ready for adventure as you are, this is a solid choice. It's tough, it sounds fantastic, and it's got the battery life to keep the party rocking all day long. Whether you're upgrading your outdoor setup or looking for the perfect gift for someone who loves their music outside, this speaker won't disappoint. Read more

They did it. The first Motion Boom Plus was thier best overall sounding speaker with the most bass, but it couldn't quite match the Tribit Stormbox Blast. I can say now that thanks to its larger size and bigger power output, this speaker is the new favorite in town. It's got deeper, bigger bass and can get a lot louder than the Blast. Highs and mids can both be adjusted to your preference so those are pretty much the same. Slightly fuller sound thanks to bigger woofers with a higher power output. 140w vs 90w peak. It weighs less than the Blast and I think looks a little better too. Never cared for the led lights on the front of the Blast. There are about 8 different lighting options each with the ability to choose a custom color pallette and you can dim or turn them off completely. Compared to Soundcore's other offerings, it is of course the king of litter this size or below. I was a little surprised how much bigger and little heavier it is than the original Boom Plus, so might be something to consider. If you are looking for a more portable speaker the new Boom 2 is an impressive alternative. Nothing else will rumble your surroundings as much as the Boom 2 Plus though. The only speaker that does something better in my opinion would be the X600. Because of the way the speakers are angled it really does an amazing job of giving an open soundstage I haven't found in any other single bluetooth speaker. The price of $250 for this speaker does feel maybe a tad high considering I can get the Stormbox Blast for $200 or less (I got mine for $150 on sale), but it is still less than say the JBl Boombox or Sony Ult Field 7 for roughly the same performance. It also looks and feels quite a bit more premium than first Boom Plus. Overall while the price might be a tad higher than what I'm used to from Soundcore, it's bigger more premium all around speaker than the original with sound quality a bass output that beats the Blast. I highly recommend. Read more

Absolutely amazing speaker, especially for the price. I paid $165 for it, and honestly it delivers way more than I expected. I own a lot of Bluetooth speakers, and if I had to place this one on the scale, I’d put it right in the middle between the JBL Xtreme 4 and the JBL Boombox 3 Wi-Fi in terms of loudness and overall presence. It’s definitely louder than the Xtreme 4 and has more bass, but it’s not quite on the level of the Boombox 3 Wi-Fi. The sound quality is very good for the price, although a little muddy compared to JBL’s cleaner tuning. Still, when you factor in cost versus performance, it’s honestly an incredible value. The light show isn’t really my thing, but my 5-year-old absolutely loves it, so that’s a bonus. All around, fantastic speaker for the money. Highly recommend. Read more

I recently got the Soundcore Boom 2 Plus and it completely exceeded my expectations! The sound is crystal clear with deep bass that you can actually feel, even in open outdoor spaces. It's powerful enough to fill a backyard or park with music, and the sound stays sharp even at full volume. The build quality is excellent — it feels solid and rugged, perfect for camping trips, beach days, or pool parties. The waterproof feature is a game-changer. I don’t have to worry about splashes or unexpected rain. Battery life is another win. It lasts all day long without needing a charge, and the fast charging is super convenient. I also love the customizable EQ through the Soundcore app – you can tweak the sound to match any vibe or genre. If you're looking for a portable Bluetooth speaker that delivers serious volume, punchy bass, and all-day performance, the Boom 2 Plus is definitely worth it. Highly recommended! Read more
