I continue to be amazed at how nutrition has had such a profound effect on my health and brain. Since I started taking more vitamin B and C, my life has improved, and I continue to learn about more things to try out. I recently read about DLPA, and I'm glad I did. I wish medical professionals knew more about nutrition and focused less on pharmaceuticals (don't we all).... day 3. I bought these hoping to see results. I have been frustrated with my brain for a while now- memory, stress, anxiety, mood issues, as well as pain mainly from herniated discs. I bought this because it was inexpensive and worth a try. I'm very pleased to report that I feel more focused and less distracted. I hope my memory will improve, though it's too soon to say. One thing I noticed immediately: I'm not hungry all the time. This I was not expecting, but it's this DLPA that's doing it. Before I took this, I have had the hardest time just getting up and doing stuff- even stuff I know I need to do. I can talk myself out of anything. I have an endless list of unfinished projects and ideas with no follow through. Product is good. Have bought this brand many times, always good quality. No broken pills or powdery ick, sealed well. Whether its wishful thinking or scientific evidence......seems to contain chronic shoulder pain from repetitive motion injury acquired over thirty five years on the job. If you are using amino acids as part of your recovery from addiction (especially alcoholism) I have found this supplement to be an essential part of my regimen. The great thing about amino acids is that you can usually tell right away if they are helping or not. For example, many people report benefits from L Tryptophan but it made me feel lousy. This, on the other hand, makes me feel great. It has major positive affects on my energy, motivation and focus without making me feel in the slightest bit anxious or edgy except for a very brief period about 15-20 minutes after taking a tablet (kind of like the brief "GABA flush'). I can no longer take opioid pain medications on a daily basis and this seems to help very much along with Turmeric and Magnesium to the point that I have not taken even an Advil in two weeks. This stuff is ridiculously cheap in light of what you get (I only take one tablet per day shortly after waking) and it's affects persist throughout the day. I rarely write reviews but this product deserves one. I've been taking it for several weeks and I have never felt better. I'm taking 2 in the morning and 2 at night. I LOVE this product! I was seeking a product that would help me with focus and mental clarity and boost mood and energy. DLPA does all of these things and I can't rave about enough! Excellent. Source naturals is a dependable brand for quality, effective supplements. It definately does what its supposed to do, and can make an extremely difficult process of healing and recovery so much better. Watch what milligram you order; the highest is 750 /pill, take 3x daily. This one is half that, but the pills are smaller, so its really your preference. Read more
