The tablets are rather large, however they go down easily. I have been taking these one tablet twice a day and my blood pressure has improved. I am pleased and have put these on subscription for the future. Read more

I am not good at taking meds, but I got a pretty good scare over my Blood Pressure at a Dr.'s office and I had just read "Miracle Cures" by Jean Carper. She raved over Grapefruit Pectin and I was worried enough to do it, so I took 2 a day for a month or so. I went to my primary care Physician and they did not even mention my Blood Pressure. When I asked them, They gave me a much better reading. I do not know if it is the grapefruit or any other FRUIT Pectin that does it, but I do know that it dropped. A lot. I have read that it can reduce or increase the effect of other drugs, but after a year I have felt no ill effects, and i still take it. It also cleared my carotid arteries of a 65% blockage. I don’t. See results like this on other supplements, whatever they are for.. Read more

I like fruit and vegetables (should since I am a vegetarian), but sometimes I still don't get all the fiber I need. Pectin takes care of it. This is not a laxative. However, taking it on a daily schedule helps to decrease the need for a laxative, since it is soluble fiber. It also provides the other benefits of soluble fiber. I take three pills when I think of it (with a glass of water), either with a meal or between meals about 5 days a week. I don't notice that I feel unusually full or bloated after taking it. Grapefruit pectin is definitely a way to easily improve one's diet. Read more

If you have found your way to here, try this product. Prescription cholesterol medicine really hurts you legs. This doesn't appear to have any side effects. Taken with with red yeast rice ( I take one of these late evening) together they should help. I will find out after my next blood test. I take 2 in the am and 2 at night. Read more

If you have high cholesterol! I swear by this. I am an MA/LPN. Take one after every time you eat. The soluble fiber you need and so much more. You will also feel energy once you get rid of the bad cholesterol that’s clogging up your veins and taking away from your energy. When saturated fat gets to room temperature it turns to solid fat which means higher cholesterol levels. Saturated fat is mostly from animal products. Milk, eggs, butter, you get the idea. High cholesterol leads to heart attack. Read more

The hard capsules are rather large but easy to swallow with liquids. They have not upset my stomach or caused diarrhea. Take care to check with your doctor because grapefruit is contraindicated for some medications. Read more

I have used this for years and always bought the powder, which was very tangy to drink. But now they have pills which is great. i went off it for about 2 years and my cholesterol went up 75 points even with a healthy diet. Now I have been on it for 6 months and even the doctor asked what I was doing because they were going to put me on pills, and I said no, let me try something first. I swear it works, and even if you do not believe me you have to try it. You have NOTHING to loose except cholesterol points. And no, I do not sell the stuff or work for them. Read more
