This space heater is pretty good overall, even though I do wish it heated a little better. It is smaller than I expected, but it still manages to warm a room reasonably well, especially when used consistently. The 120 degree oscillation helps distribute the heat more evenly, which is a nice feature. What I really love are the options and convenience features. The remote control makes it easy to adjust settings without getting up, and the different modes and built in thermostat give you good control over the temperature. The 12 hour timer is useful too, especially for nighttime use. While it is not the most powerful heater out there, it is still a solid choice for small to medium sized spaces. A good product with helpful features, which earns it a strong four star rating. Read more

This little heat-blasting obelisk of cozy deception arrived looking like it was on a starvation diet, far smaller than I'd anticipated, like a diet coke version of a proper furnace. It's so compact, you could hide it behind a bag of chips and forget it exists, which is exactly what you want when you're trying to inject some much-needed summer into the grim, frozen tundra that is my house in December. There was no assembly, so I didn't even have the violent allergic reaction to instructions that most men, myself included, suffer from; it was just a plug-and-play ticket to warmth. We needed a silent assassin of the cold for the baby's nursery; that 15 month old tyrannical miniature human requires a climate that feels less like the north pole and more like a warm hug from a benevolent dragon. This little ceramic powerhouse, with its 1500 watts of immediate, searing power, absolutely delivered. It chases the chill out of that room faster than I retreat from a dirty diaper. It warms the space with a silent, even distribution, like a tiny, oscillating lighthouse of thermal energy that cuts through the surrounding frostiness. The 120 degree swing of the body ensures that the heat doesn't just cling to one corner like a socially awkward relative. The temperature can be dialed in to the exact degree of your choice, which is a huge plus. Many of these have either off/on or just off/low/high. This one has an actual target temp, and it works VERY well at dumping heat into the room. And, of course, because I have the coordination of a freshly newborn giraffe, the tip-over switch is a feature sent from the heavens; the power cuts off immediately if I so much as look at it sideways or accidentally kick it while carrying my daughter's ridiculous amount of stuffed animals. The remote is nice for setting it from across the room, and the "screen" goes off after a few minutes of not changing any settings (really nice for not lighting up a nursery). And while the images show it with a bright yellow/orange hue, the heat plate doesn't actually light up, which makes it even better for a nursery. After a few minutes of not changing any settings, even if it's on, the only thing showing status is a dimly lit red power icon, which is really a good thing for so many applications. If I'm nitpicking here... * the temperature setting is more ephemeral than my youth; I select my preferred digital degree, but every time I power the thing off and back on again, it jets back up to the default like it has temperature amnesia. * the sound is pretty noticeable when it ticks on/off, so if you're using it for a nursery and your baby is not sleeping with a noise machine, it might disturb your baby. This tower heater isn't much bigger in footprint than the 1gal purified water bottles from costco and it's really compact for the features it has. It has all the basics, including an up to 12h timer function, 3 modes including fan & heat, and tip-over detection that will shut off the heater w/i 10s or so. So all that aside, how do I like it? A lot, actually. It doesn't take out much space so it's just right to keep one person warm in a smaller room/area, and sometimes that's really all you need. My elderly mother doesn't need or want to heat up the whole room with it, just her. The compact size and timer function are really nice for her use case, which is keeping her feet warm while she drifts off to sleep. It's nice not having to get up to turn it off when you're 75% there. The remote also helps with that. Read more
