Outta Sight—November 16, 2025
My HVAC system in my house is gas and the natural gas prices around here have skyrocketed so I wanted a couple small space heaters to put around to try to offset the bill a little bit. I have one of the fireplace type heaters and a large oscillating heater that I use in my bedroom. Well, let’s say I use the large oscillating heater in my bedroom up until this little dandy showed up. Now all the heaters I have are 1500 W. but none of them put out heat like this little oscillating space heater do. In fact it’s been pretty chilly the last few nights and I keep my thermostat in the house set at 68. I put this on a little table in the bedroom and had to get up in the middle of the night and turn it off and noticed that my thermostat hadn’t kicked on all night. It put out so much heat that it tricked my thermostat into thinking the whole house was this warm. I assure you, the living room was frigid, but my bedroom was toasty. The remote is easy to learn and use, and the oscillation has a good range on it. It spreads the heat around very nice. The housing itself stays rather warm and it’s small enough and compact enough that you can pretty much put it anywhere in your house that you want to make it nice and warm. The quality I wasn’t expecting from something this small it’s outstanding and it’s not overly loud now it did take about an hour of use before that burning smell that you usually get with a space heater went away but once it did, you don’t smell it at all and I’ll mention again. It’s much quieter than the oscillating heater that I was using in my bedroom previously and the fireplace type heater that’s in the living room while you do hear it. It is not loud at all and unless you’re a light light sleeper, you should be able to sleep through the night without it giving you anything but a little white noise. At the end of the day, this is not only my new favorite heater because of the quality the price the amount of heat it puts out, but I’ve already started telling my family members about it so they can go grab one up for themselves! This little 1500W heater generates a lot of warm air, and blows out unheated air after it reaches the set temperature. I'm not positive that it's judging the whole room temperature, though, as it shows the room as several degrees higher than what it is farther away from the heater. It switched from heat to no heat showing the room temperature was at 80 degrees under my desk, but the rest of the room was still chilly. If you skip the temperature settings and just go with the HH or LL modes, it will just keep emitting heat. However, I couldn't use the remote to get it to power off or go to oscillating while the mode was on; and when the oscillating feature was on before turning on the mode setting, I couldn't get it to stop oscillating or power off with the remote. It is able to turn slowly on a flat surface and also on my low pile carpet when the oscillating feature is on. Pushing the off on the actual heater seems to work regardless of the mode. I like that it immediately stops working when lifted or knocked over. It also counts down about 20 seconds before shutting off in order to cool down when you select OFF on the remote or on the unit. It's helpful in small areas, but not powerful enough to keep my entire home office warm. It seems well made, and functional, with a few nice features. I'm not sure it's a good value for the price, but for a simple, small unit it does a good job. Read more

I got this space heater because my office is in the basement and it gets pretty cold down there now that we are coming into the winter months. This Space Heater packs a pretty nice punch for its size! It certainly heats up quickly and warms a decent area in a short amount of time. As with all space heaters you do have to watch the outlet as it can get hot from the power this little guy draws, and DO NOT plug it into an extension cord unless you want your house torched. I like that this heater comes with a remote. It has different temp settings and it auto locks so if you accidentally push a button on the remote it won't shut off or change settings on you. I would say this heater is a good value for the money. It does what a space heater should do, it pushes out a lot of heat, and comes with a remote. I would absolutely recommend it! Read more

I really wanted to like this heater. I got it to use in my studio, which is a larger open space that drops to the 60s overnight. Unfortunately, this unit just doesn’t cut it. First off, it’s small, smaller than it looks in photos, and only heats within a couple of feet. That would be fine for a tiny desk or closet, but it’s barely functional even in a small room. Worse, the metal front gets dangerously hot, and it shuts off if you so much as nudge it, yes, even when using the handle. I get that it’s a safety feature to prevent tipping, but it shuts off from any movement, not just accidents. That makes it totally impractical for use around pets, kids, or just regular life. The remote only works occasionally and doesn’t always respond. That alone was frustrating, but what sealed the deal for me was realizing this heater isn’t UL, ETL, or CSA certified. It’s made in China and not US certified for safety standards, which made me uncomfortable plugging it in at all. Bottom line: this heater might work for very limited desk use, but even then, I’d worry about safety and reliability. I’ll be looking for a certified, better-built unit that can handle more than just looking cute in a product photo. Read more
