This shock is fantastic, and I was able to get it on Amazon for much less than in stores. I use it for my hot tub, and having a container this size means I don’t have to rush out for more in an emergency. It has a slightly strong smell, but once I sprinkle it in, the chlorine levels stay stable and my hot tub stays crystal clear—no fussing with multiple chemicals. Great quality and highly effective. The media could not be loaded. Such a great product. I only gave 4 stars because it leaves this crusty residue that takes some scrubbing to remove but this stuff cleared up my spa very nicely. We had to do 2 shocks over 2 days but worked great. Read more

This product performed exceptionally well. I had been using another product together with test strips, and regular filter changes and had developed a persistent slightly cloudy condition. After applying this product my hot tub water was again crystal clear the very next day, and has remained so for 30 days, with just 1 additional treatment after 2 weeks.
