I use part of my basement for my mini gym and used these mats to provide some cushion since the floor is hard on the feet, especially when lifting. The individual squares come with edges so they can be used either on the sides or middle and once locked in they don't budge, even when I drag my equipment around. They are light weight for the size and my floor comfortable and not as cold. They seem to be made out of a dense durable foam that can withstand dragging and dropping my weights around. Read more

These are made of a super dense material and should last a long time. We aren't using it for exercise, but for a play area for the kids. Assembled easily, and it was delivered in a flash.
