Trim‑It‑Right: The Little Stainless Steel Scissors That Do It All I’ve tried a handful of nose‑hair trimmers over the years, from electric whirligigs to the classic pair of tweezers, and none have quite hit the sweet spot like these stainless‑steel scissors. The first thing you notice is the sleek, brushed metal finish – it feels solid but not heavy, and the rounded tip instantly puts you at ease. No more worrying about poking the delicate skin inside your nostrils; the tip is genuinely blunt, yet the blades are razor‑sharp enough to glide through stray hairs with barely a whisper of resistance. The curved design of the blades follows the natural contour of your nose and eyebrows, making it feel like the scissors were custom‑made for facial grooming. Using them feels surprisingly effortless. The tiny, ergonomic handles fit comfortably in my palm, and the slight spring action gives just enough tension to keep the cut clean without needing a lot of pressure. I’ve used them on my own moustache, on my partner’s eyebrows, and even for a quick touch‑up on my kid’s ear hair (yes, it happens), and each time the cuts are precise and tidy. There’s no snagging or pulling, which is a huge win compared to the clunky clipping devices that often tug or leave uneven patches. The stainless steel also resists rust, so a quick rinse and a dry spot later, they’re ready for the next round. Durability-wise, these scissors have already survived a few months of daily use and still look brand‑new. The stainless steel has held its shine, and the joint hasn’t loosened at all – a common issue with cheaper “plastic‑handle” alternatives. I also appreciate that the package includes a tiny travel case, making it easy to toss them into a toiletry bag or keep them handy in a bathroom drawer. For the price point, which is definitely on the budget‑friendly side, you’re getting a tool that feels premium, works flawlessly, and lasts. In short, if you’re looking for a simple, reliable way to keep nose hair, eyebrows, and facial fuzz in check without the hassle of batteries or the fear of cuts, these little scissors are a solid, stress‑free solution. Ah, nose hair. Not a pleasant topic or task trimming but everyone has hair and as we age it suddenly starts growing. Can’t have bushes hanging out of your nostrils so enter these handy little scissors. I’ve tried many scissor trimmers over the years, and none were anything special to write home about. Until now. These are straight scissors with safety tips to protect sensitive nostrils from nicks and cuts. Because they’re straight and not curved, they also work well for eyebrows and the odd stray hair. The brushed gunmetal coating keeps them looking new and makes them easy to find against other stainless utensils in a drawer or basket - should you choose not to use the metal case they arrive in. They are perfectly sharp and excellently calibrated so using them is easy and they cut with ease and precision without sticking or pulling. They are stainless steel so they’re durable and rust resistant. These so far are extremely durable and well-made. I dropped them on the tile floor while trying to remove them from the foam insert in the metal case the day they were delivered. They were completely unscathed. If you’re looking for a great pair of nos hair scissors that will travel well and last years, look no further. Read more

Unfortunately, it would almost be accurate to say that these scissors don't cut hairs -- period. Scissors for this purpose have to be precision instruments. They need to protect the inside of the nose and have to be very sharp to snip the hairs. These pull the hairs twice or more before the 'snip' is accomplished. And as far as cutting at the very base of the hairs--forget it. If Amazon offered very high quality nose snips for three times the price they would be worth it. Read more

I've sported a beard for nearly 10 years and have used curved, nail-clipping scissors for many of those years to tackle fly-aways. I saw these and figured it might be time to try some small, straight-bladed scissors meant for facial hair trimming. While it feels a little like overkill, the tin the scissors came in helps make these feel luxurious. I certainly won't lose these scissors in the cracks and crevices of my bathroom cupboard, a fate often befalling my other small scissors. The scissors themselves felt stiff and were squeaky when opening and closing them at first, but a drop of beard oil cleared that up... mostly. They are comfortable enough in hand, although I have average to smaller than average hands, so those with larger hands might struggle. I like the matte black finish and the rounded end that makes these a little safer to use. As I get older, my eyesight continues to degrade, so safety measures like that are helpful. These seem to be a reasonable value at $8, the price at the time of this review. I'm not sure I would replace them if they went missing, though. I've seen many options near this price point that include other grooming accessories, and, for a tin that takes up this much space, I would like to see it include a few more options. Read more
