It allows the rolling chair to glide around. It does hold indentions from the chair that you may have to roll out of and allow the plastic to remold. But it works fine Read more
Not quite thick enough for my needs
It was delivered in an unpackaged crumpled up mess. I struggled getting inside the house and then I put it in the sun on patio and it flattened out over night. But for low pile carpeting, my desk chair still leaves dents in it. It is hard to measure for pile length as suggested for needs for carpet mats. Read more

looks good, lays flat
After I wrestled it to the rug, (I'm 72 ) it was easy enough to move into place. Laying flat with in 24 hours. This mat is oval shape which I like better than the one I replaced which was rectangle. Read more
