Pretty sure this is a remake of a remake now. I played the original on PS1, then the remake on PSP, and now this sort of HD2D on PS5. Still a fun game. Has more to it than I've ever figured out or tried. Music instruments? Cooking? I just grind more, buy better gear, and stock up on items. Fun if silly story. Just glad they don't forget old games and instead carry them forward with nice to have enhancements. If only they would have done the same for the first game. Read more

The game was amazing going back to the PS1 version. Now remaking it into this game, made it even better. It's even easier to break the game, which really isn't a complaint as it can take lots of work to get to that point and nothing forcing you do that. Played the original and the PSP version probably 6 times combined, and now beaten the remake once. Ready to beat it again. Read more

Great remastered game if you like rpgs. There are a lot menu skill/talent/perk options that all connect on different screens and it can be confusing. There are no in game instructions on how all these mesh together and it’s a lot of back and forth. Get your own and paper ready because there are a lot of things to remember in the settings. I hope they keep these remakes coming. It's so great to be able to replay the games from my childhood on modern systems AND have them look good. (I still have my original playstation and games, but it just doesn't look good on modern tvs. And good luck finding a crt tv anymore) Read more
