Adds Great Texture Without the Crunch
I picked this up to give my hair a bit more volume and texture on days when I don’t feel like using heavy product, and it does exactly that. A few sprays and a quick scrunch, and my hair gets that slightly messy but styled look without feeling like it’s loaded down. The scent is light and fresh—not overpowering, but definitely noticeable for the first hour or so. It reminds me of clean ocean air, which fits the whole beachy theme they’re going for. It gives a medium hold, which means it won’t freeze your style in place but does help everything stay more or less how you left it. It works better when applied to slightly damp hair and air-dried. I tried it on dry hair and it still worked, just needed a little more adjusting. What I really like is that it doesn’t leave my hair feeling sticky or stiff. It’s still touchable and soft, which is kind of the whole point of a sea salt spray. The bottle is a decent size too and feels like it’ll last a while since you don’t need a ton each time. I am generally pleased with this sea salt spray, it seems to work better than others I’ve tried, and the look garners compliments. I don’t entirely enjoy the stickiness I feel on my hair when wearing it, but it’s not heavy or crunchy. Read more
