These are the type of footwear where every detail is just done really well and looks great. They also have a wide calf, which would be accommodating to a variety of sizes. As a skinny ankled person, they still look flattering on my legs and elongate them, They are also not slippery on the bottoms out of the box, which I appreciate. These are fabulous cowboy boots for making a statement. There is a ton of movement in the fringe. Length-wise, I would say they are true to size. However, they felt a bit narrow through the end of my foot. I have wider feet, so I'm not surprised when shoes are tight, but these felt exceptionally tight.
