So glad I purchased this cover. The item was boxed and sealed with care. Right out of the package, it was silky soft to the touch. No smell. I did wash it as recommended and it was still perfect. I bought this bamboo mattress cover because I read that memory foam mattress toppers are notoriously known for overheating people at night. I am not sure if my mattress topper would have done that on its own, but I know with this mattress cover I have had no overheating issues. Also, it is relatively easy to put the mattress topper into the cover, and the straps that attach to the mattress help to keep the whole thing in place. I had some anxiety about putting the mattress topper into the cover, so I read through the reviews and found these descriptions of how to do it helpful: "I recommend anyone who uses this topper cover to lay it out on the bed zippered. Then unzip about 3/4 of the way around the start to insert your topper inside at the top corners first and then the rest of the corners, you may have to shake the topper inside the cover a few times to get it even on the inside of the cover." "I laid the cover out on top of the bed, zipped open, then flopped the latex topper on top of it, lining it up on the cover. Worked the top right corner in and then just pulled the rest of the cover around into place." I found reading over those two descriptions before inserting the mattress topper made it easier. Also, I found that I ended up unzipping it all the way first, and also shaking the mattress topper into place within the cover. ------ So all and all I am happy with this mattress topper cover. It was a little pricey, but like I said I have had absolutely no issues with overheating of the memory foam and that makes me very happy. Also, the topper always stays in place at night thanks to the straps and an extra deep sheet I bought to put around my mattress and the topper within the cover. I ordered this because I got tired of my topper sliding off my bed lol. I really just wanted a way to hold it in place. This has the straps on the corner to hopefully hold it in place. So far it feels like it will. The cover feels fine. When I got it out of the package it felt nice and cool to the touch, even though it just came out of a hot amazon box lol. What I want to say, is that it fits over a 2 inch thick memory foam topper just fine. At least for my FULL topper. It is a bit difficult to fit onto it, but that is just how it has to be if you want it to fit perfectly. You really gotta wrestle your topper, pull and tug the cover until it fits exactly right. So if you actually have a FULL size topper and you order a FULL size cover, it should fit. If it don't, you prob ordered the wrong size or your topper is not the size you think it is. Read more

I bought this cover to protect my new, 3 inch foam mattress topper. I didn't want to just put the topper on the mattress, and cover both with a sheet, I thought the topper would move around, or get degraded, absorb body odor, rip, etc. This cover is so easy to put on because is zips open on two sides, to make a big triangle flap. The zippers are easy sliding and sturdy plastic, and the bottom surface is kind of a mesh netting material which keeps the ventilation through the topper. The top side is a very smooth fabric, so it doesn't pull against the sheet if you roll over. You can wash this easily too so your topper won't get dirty. It makes the foam cooler and softer feeling, and at $30 it's well worth it to keep your foam topper in great shape. Read more

I used this mattress topper cover out the box. Pros: It was soft to the touch, no odor, and none scratchy against my skin. I had no problems putting it on my topper. Fit great. It did not slip off the mattress. Slept comfortably. It is a covering, I was pleased with the thickness level. I read several of the reviews before purchasing and followed the one that recommended start from the bottom, pull it up towards the top, zip halfway and pull and zip. It took me about 10 minutes, my latex topper is a queen size and 3 inches thick. It was a great fit. No problems. Cons: I tried to use the straps but they didn't stay in place, so I used it without them. I washed the cover and read the directions. I remembered reading one review that stated it shrunk when washed. So I made sure to read the laundry directions before washing and drying. So glad I did! It shrank about 10 to 15%. It was a real wrestling match to get it back on the topper. Doubled the time to get it on the topper to 20 to 25 minutes. The fit was snug at best and the topper was a little bunched/bent upwards in 2 corners. It stretched back out after a few hours and eventually the corners of the topper laid flat again. Warning: Wash cold and line/hang to dry. I will not dry it again in the machine. Read more
