For me, this is a different and very nice way to hold my iPhone in the car. Three features I really like: (1) it has a strong magnet to hold the phone in place (no rattling, no vibration), (2) you twist a knob to create suction, and (3) the holder has a small footprint to mount on the dash or whatever little "real estate" is available in the car's instrument panel to mount the device. Most car phone holders have a large 2"+ footprint - with sticky crap - to hold the suction cup in place. Today's cars are loaded with gadgets, buttons, etc., with little room to mount a phone holder. The dash is no easy option for a phone holder if you live in a hot climate and need to put up a windshield sunscreen when the car is parked because a stupid holder mounted on top of the dashboard impedes putting up the sunscreen.
