Sunco 50 Pack T8 LED Bulbs 4 Foot 48 Inch Tube Light Bulb Fluorescent Replacement Single Double Ended

Bought these LED's to replace my faulty Ballast based fluorescent fixtures. Taking the ballast out and rewiring was a piece of cake. Bulbs went in easily and came right on. I love the sliding switch to change the light color temperature . LED's may be brighter than the fluorescent precursors. Just remember to orient the light temp switch so that when you rotate the bulbs in the tombstone, you can easily move the switch once seated. The color temperature switch goes on the side with the multiple colored wires (Blue and red- the L end). Over all I am very satisfied with this product and will buy again as needed. The LED light tubes are great. My ballast had died and the instructions said to remove it anyway. There are two options to install so I chose the double ended method. Very simple to do and very bright light. Read more

We had some issues with shunted vs non-shunted installation. The company responded immediately letting us know that these bulbs would be compatible with both, and agreed to update both the listing and the manual to make that clear. They worked fine for what I needed. However, they did not work with the ballasts in my lights. I had to wire them directly, and had to buy non shunted tombstones to replace the shunted ones in my fixtures. Even so, it saved me from buying all new fixtures and the cost for them all (8 total). so DAZZLING DAYLIGHT BRIGHT WHITE! My house was built in 1986 and the original fluorescent fixtures are still installed. But the "ballast" has gone bad on one or more fixtures making it an "adventure" every time I tried to turn on my kitchen lights. I found a great electrician (moonlighting from his normall job) at a very reasonable price. For just $100 he re-wired all 9 of my fluorescent fixtures so they no longer needed the ballasts, at all. He had recommended LED light tubes and i bought these. I had '9' new LED tubes installed but these are so BRIGHT i had to remove '5' of the tubes! ... Only 4 tubes now BRIGHTLY illuminate my kitchen.
