Great bulbs, nice to be able to control the color temperature with the mix of LEDs in the bulb. I used these in kitchen and shop ceiling lights. I prefer the use in the kitchen that has a diffuser and hides the individual LED emitters that are very bright to look at. In the shop there is no diffuser and although the light is appreciated they are so bright I avoid looking directly towards the light bulb. Existing 48" Flourescent fixtures were modified to use these bulbs, the elecrtical contacts are the same. NOTE: the wiring is NOT THE SAME! NO ballast or starter. The fixtures need to be rewired for these to work (instructions included). Dissassembling and reusing the old fixtures was the somewhat difficult and should only be done by someone experienced with 120V wiring. Read more

Need 10 bulbs bought a pack of 10 not very happy three bulbs out of the 10 were bad. I put them in 4 foot fluorescent fixtures. They are all the same. Two of the lights melted. Worked for one day, then melted no idea why would not buy again.after contacting the company they were good they asked for pictures and I sent them they gave me a full refund and are sending me a new box. The bulbs go in and work fine on my single ended lamps. The box looked fine, but one bulb was broken when I took it out. I looked at the box and it clearly got smashed in on the corner where the bulb broke and the shipping foam pushed it back out. I cant say it was the package or the company's problem, it was just abuse in shipping. Read more

Would not recommend! I ordered two cases of these for a job 1case came with 1/2 the case shattered! Luckily I only needed 14/20 ordered! Made of very thin glass and not strong enough to make it through shipping process. Read more
