This is exactly the stand I needed for my new business laptop as far as form, fit, & function. As an added bonus, it comes in a classic black color that goes well with any office decor, was super simple to assemble, and is made of a non-rusting metal, durable enough to last a long time. Most importantly, it keeps my laptop operating system from over-heating due to provided elevation and vented shelf it sits on allowing air to continually circulate in space underneath it. I also like the additional space between vented shelf and my desk and use it to store office supplies, various cards, envelopes, and put my cell phones there while charging. Recently rearranged my room & moved a flat-screen tv to sit on top of a 5-drawer chest. This stand was great for elevating the tv (by ~6") as well as providing a space-saving shelf for the dvd player, which also added ventilation under it. The only down side is the tv's stand is slightly wider than the top shelf (each side extends over it by ~1"), but in spite of this, the overall setup is still very stable. Super sturdy too. Even though the assembly instructions weren't very clear, it was fairly easy to figure out. Would definitely recommend, but take measurements before buying. In my case I knew the tv stand was a bit wider, but wanted to give it a try anyway & I'm glad I did as it seems perfectly stable as is. Read more
This is solid built and really nice for making space on your desktop. I have a monitor on top and the laptop underneath, with the docking station hidden nicely below and out of sight. There isn't much to it of course, but I do have 1 "could improve" and 1 "wish it did this." My could improve is that I tend to type a little heavy, more like attacking my keys than pressing them sometimes. This stand moves a bit due to the c-shaped design. If it had front supports, it wouldn't wobble. If this is your primary monitor stand, well, that could be really annoying that it is bouncing while your typing. If you tend to type harder, consider that before purchasing. The monitor I have on this stand is a 27" curved, so it does need solid support. If you're using larger monitors, keep that in mind too. For an enhancement, I would like this to have some adjustability in height. For my usage, it is about 3 inches lower than I wanted. I had to also buy an adjustable monitor stand for another setup because this was close, but not quite what I wanted. For sitting flat on a desktop, the height is comfortable. The problem is that I have multiple monitors and the stands just don't quite line up. If you have only 1 monitor, this probably won't be an issue for you. Read more
Easy to set up and use. Love this stand - it works great as a laptop riser, with room underneath for items such as drawing tablet giving easy access to these items with no legs in front to block retrieving items. This helps to organize items. Read more

Very happy with this. I have it on the back of a table holding my keyboard. Currently placing a computer monitor on this to facilitate following video piano lessons. My keyboard happens to have a blank area large enough for a mouse to operate, so this works great. Assembled very easily with the provided Allen keys. Had it installed on the table in 10 minutes or less. Note that the surface is actually 2 pieces lengthwise, but they're attached via very sturdy plates that I believe actually keeps it from sagging in the middle as could happen with a single long shelf.
