Awesome. This is the closest thing to a real light bulb I've found on amazon so far. I hate LED's and CFL's and refuse to use them, so, I am stocking up on these. In the photo, I have this bulb under the shaded fixture, and an antique style Edison incandescent in the glass fixture on the wall. I can actually see the murals on my wall properly and look at the glass fixtures without going blind. Color temp seems around 2700. Reasonably bright, and looks amazing. Lifespan to be determined. Great bulbs that have been hard to find at local hardware stores and a great price too. They’ve lasted a long time of around the clock use. I have been using these to keep my unheard garage just a bit warmer in the winter and they do an amazing job of heating with zero flickering or other issues. Read more

Old fashioned incandescent bulb. Easy on the eyes, there is no flicker. It produces the full spectrum of light. I am using two bulbs to illuminate a jigsaw puzzle. The full spectrum light assists in differentiating between different hues and shades of the same color. Note that this bulb produces a lot of heat – I had to turn them off at one point in time due to the room getting hot. They arrived quickly and in good working order. Read more

I have not had good success with these bulbs. They are not well made and one broke off in the socket when I was removing it. But more importantly they are VERY sensitive to electric current fluctuations, more so than regular incandescent bulbs. When my HVAC system comes on these bulbs have a drop in light and a quick flicker. This happens even though my HVAC unit has a hard start kit on it to control the level of inrush current and keep it low so there should be no problem with current to lighting or other areas of the house. I purchased them because I could not find standard incandescent bulbs but these in my opinion are clearly intended for indoor plants to benefit from. Not standard light fixtures. Read more
