Last year we purchased the 4-pack of these bulbs for our kitchen pendant lights over the snack bar. We leave them on most evenings, so wanted the least lumens. They're all still working just fine and put out a nice, soft light - not bluey at all. Bought these to possibly replace some "like" globes that would give off a constant glow even after the power was turned off. No problem with these, they work perfectly and give off a nice daylight brightness. Would recommend these and say that it's best to stay with brands you know. Read more

So! 6 years later.... The light in the closed fixture lasted a couple of years (2 to 3, I don't remember exactly) but the ones over the mirror, with the open fixture are still going strong. I had to replace one of them last year, and I figured it was a warning to get ready to replace the rest, but they're still working. I bought this to replace the overhead light in my bathroom. It was one of the last rooms in the house to be converted to LED. Now that I've changed it, I kinda miss the warm-up period of the CFL at 4 in the morning, lol. It produces a nice, bright, warm white light that mimics an incandescent very well. I am curious to see how well it holds up in a closed fixture, even with the limited use a bathroom light gets.
