Follow up: After a year of ordinary use, the stitching all all five pairs of these shorts has failed and pockets on 2 of the five have failed.. Ordinary use was during warm months for everyday use (hiking, casual wear, etc). The stitching was really just awful. I washed on delicate cycle and stitching would still come apart in washer. End of edited update. I have ordered five pairs of these shorts (four in grey and one in black). The good: 1. great design 2. very good materials 3. fits well and sizing is accurate The bad: 1. They are sewn together poorly. Two of the five came partially sewn in different areas (one the zipper wasn't sewn all the way and another in the right pocket). I exchanged the pair with the defective zipper. I am going to exchange the pair with the right pocket failure. The other three were fine. My plan is to order more and just keep exchanging the defective ones. If you get a properly sewn pair, they are five stars. If you don't, then you have to deal with exchanges or returns. Ideally, the manufacturer will read this review and improve quality control. I feel like five pair is a large enough sample size to suspect an assembly issue. Read more

The styling of these shorts are over the top excellent. A+ to that department. I wear a 32" waist Levi, and on 7/10/23 I purchased a 34" here. They barely fit and are always tight. I understand why the buttons break - people must force the fit. Be very careful about size. These shorts cannot be machine washed - another mark down. I want to make some strong points about this item because I believe it can be remarked to the auto detailing and tinting industry. One poor thing is the strength of the stitching. These shorts fall apart if you work in them, snag them on something, or stretch too far. That’s the ONLY issue is that they just aren’t durable. HOWEVER, the PTFE material is light, and dries quickly. They flaps cover any zippers which is a GREAT thing when working closely to vehicles, because you don’t want zippers or buttons to scratch a vehicle. The pockets are perfect to put little brushes, or remote switches for your vacuum. It would be an AMAZING improvement if they could only reinforce the stitching to make the more durable. If the manufacturer would like to reach out to me, and go over a few things I think these shorts could’ve remarked in the auto detailing and tinting industry and become a BIG seller- they could even charge double or triple what they are selling for now at retail value, or ope up the wholesale market to detailing retailers all over the country Read more

This shorts worked great for me, starting with the price, very affordable, they are light weight, which is good specially when you have long shifts, I love that the waist band is stretchy, makes it so much more comfortable, it has a good amount of pockets, it's not too crazy but a good amount, it doesn't make you look looney with so many pockets. good color, does NOT fade easily. I love this style of pant and have many. Unfortunately, this particular brand is not like others I've purchased. It was about half the price of others but I'd have to say these are less than half the quality. Very thin material. Nylon zippers get stuck all the time. Loose threads everywhere. The fit is strange. They are very tight when you bend over (at least on me) and that makes them uncomfortable to sit in - let alone hike. Again - my other (more expensive) tactical shorts had none of these issues.
