Bad zipper location
The zipper falls right on the side of your foot and as you walk it just rubs a blister on your foot, they just weren’t comfortable at all for me. Read more
Runs a full size smaller than true size
I have many Taos shoes, and they all run either a half size small or a full size small. These are a full size small for my tastes. I don’t like having my toes crammed together in the front like the smaller size did. I do have to wear thicker socks than dress socks to keep the heels from slipping (I have narrow feet). But I’m generally thrilled with the pair I kept. Nice color and heel height is modest but refined. Read more
Zipper broke second wearing.
I purchased these shoes in December 2024 for a trip to Paris in March 2025. I wore for a second time on March 11 and the zipper broke. I took it up and down a couple of times but it separated on its own each time. I know they’re out of their return window but I will try. Very comfortable when intact. $160 is a lot of money for 2 comfortable wearings. Read more
