If you're looking for a basic digital scale just to be able weight yourself, this Taylor scale is an excellent choice. I love the simple elegance of it. Not only does it look really nice, but it's got a large digital display that makes it easy to read while you're standing on it. The display isn't lighted, but as long as you're not using it in a dimly light room, you won't have any trouble reading it. The silicone lines on the glass surface are indeed super grippy, just as they claim. There's no fear of slipping when you go to stand on it, whether you're barefoot or getting on it with socks on. The only down side to how grippy it is, is that it also grabs every bit of hair/lint on your feet or socks! But that's not the scale's fault, it's my own floor's fault ;) The surface is nice and large at 11 3/4" x 11 3/4" and the bands of grip lines are 4" wide. I really like how thin this scale is too (only 7/8" tall) because if you don't have anywhere to keep it where it's not in the way, you can easily slide it under a dresser or something when not in use. Oh and it has good rubber feet on the bottom as well. Read more

This is a simple digital bathroom scale that displays your weight only. It runs off of 2 AAA batteries, which are provided with the scale. I like that it has increments of .2 lbs. It goes up to 350 lbs maximum. The scale is a really nice size being 11.8" x 11.8" and also has a low profile so its easily put away. The display is very easy to read when standing on the scale. I like the grippy silicone texture on the foot pads so I don't have to worry about slipping if my feet are damp. I gave this one less star because I think it is slightly higher priced than other scales of similar size and functionality. Read more

It is a digital scale with nice easy to read numbers. I use this in the bathroom and sometine it could be slippery. The silicone pad on the back prevents this and the scale is made with all glass so I don't have to worry about damaging it from being wet. It comes with the batteries you need so you can use it right away. I tested when I got home for a doctor visit and my weight was the same on this scale as at the doctor. Read more

This is a good basic digital scale. What I like about this scale is that in looks it is pretty basic. It is grey and does not interfere with decor very much and so I like that it is fairly benign style wise, there are aways things people need in the home that don't have a lot of style options and everyone has to just deal with things being ugly, at least this scale is pretty muted. I also like that this is a very slim low profile piece of glass. This allows the scale to be hidden under lower furniture such as a bath stool, countertop, etc. and allows it to be pushed away and out of the floor. Due to the fact that this is a digital scale and does not have a manual adjuster, it is important to always try to use this scale on the same type of flooring, the same flooring placement, and make sure to press it to allow it to zero out before stepping on it each time. The digital scales are a little more sensitive to flooring material and if the floor is not level and how you are standing on them. Read more

The Taylor Digital Bath Scale is attractive and simple to use. Very basic operation -- step on and weight appears; easy. Ease of use and large display are its best features although having a backlight would be even better. I question its accuracy. I've compared it with my current scale over several days and the difference between the two always varied between 2.2 and .4 pounds. Based on the variations, I believe my older scale is more accurate. This Taylor scale is also inconsistent on its own. For example, I weighed myself three times in the last 15 minutes and it gave three different weights with a .8 lb difference between the highest and lowest. My old scale was consistent. Due to the inaccuracy and the higher-than-average price, I do not recommend this scale. Read more

Taylor Digital Bath Scale, Durable Anti-Slip Silicone Platform, All Grip, No Slip, Safe, Easy to Read Weight Measurements, 2 AAA Batteries Required & Included, 350 lb Capacity, Silver - Clean glass top looks sharp in the bathroom and wipes down fast after a steamy shower. - Big digits pop up the second you step on, very easy for me to read. - Silicone stripes keep bare or socked feet from skidding, though they do collect lint like a magnet. - Thin, lightweight, and easy to hide under the vanity in case you have fat guests. - Reads in lb/kg/st (What the heck is a st? Star Trek measurements?) but nothing fancier-no Bluetooth, body-fat, or app bells and whistles. - My numbers usually match my scale at work, but now and then it drifts by a pound or so if I move it around the floor. - Batteries come in the box, but they were pretty much DOA. Stopped working after a week. - Good pick if you want a straightforward, sturdy scale, but the price is painful for a scale that is "just weight." Read more

I’ve been using the Taylor body scale for a little while now, and I really like how straightforward it is. The numbers are big, bold, and easy to read even first thing in the morning without glasses, which is a huge plus for me. It feels stable thanks to the anti-slip grips on the bottom—no wobbling when I step on it, even if the bathroom floor is a little damp. What I appreciate most is that there’s no fuss with extra buttons or confusing features. You just step on, and it gives you a quick, clear reading. It’s simple, reliable, and does exactly what I need it to do. For anyone looking for a no-nonsense scale that feels sturdy and is easy to use daily, this one’s a solid choice. Read more
