Let me start off by saying that I was ready to drop $200 on a portable DVD player for the car (headrest) I did my research and I was about to click “buy” until my husband nonchalantly said “what about a mount for the iPad?” Ya’ll....I almost lost it. How does he get to come in at the last minute and destroy all of my research in TWO SECONDS?! I honestly didn’t think I would find anything worth while...until this one!!! 1. It is SOOO easy to install; literally took 2 minutes (1 minutes for the headrest and 1 minute for the iPad/tablet) ; if you’re anything like me it may take another minute or two to get the headrest mount on..( you need a little ‘oomph’ and I wanted to make sure the velcro lined up so I re did it a few time) :) 2. If we Get stuck in traffic and it’s going to be longer than anticipated I can pop my phone up there and put on “Baby shark” for my 18month old. So it essentially helps me keep my marbles. 3. The adapter things that hold the iPad/tablet/phone are so sturdy and do not feel cheap at all. That being said, the Velcro is super strong..my mother even got her hair stuck in it and took her awhile to get free. (That’s a long funny story!) Bought this so my daughter could watch videos on the iPad mini on a long car trip. She is too young to simply hold the iPad because she will touch the screen and close the video. The elastic section that goes over the head rest velcroed in easily and the velcro is very sturdy. There are two rubber pieces (phone sized and small tablet sized) that stretch around the side of the device. These then velcro on to a hinged mount which velcros on to head rest piece. It feels sturdy when attached but was easy for to take off to change shows and slap back up. The hinged mount allows you to adjust the viewing angle. I ended up using it for both the phone and tablet mounts. Both fit easily over the cases of the devices and it was simple to switch back and forth. Searched for an iPad holder for a while that would work with a rear facing car seat that the headrest didn’t move up to accommodate most tablet holders. Happy we found this one. Super easy to put on. Holds our iPad mini perfectly. Have had no issues at all. Love that the actual tablet holder is Velcro and can be removed quickly from the seat wrap without having to remove the tablet from the holder for charging. I ordered these to use on a 10 hour road trip with my kids and they were perfect!! My daughter is in a rear facing car seat and it held our iPad steady so she could watch movies on it. My son is in a front facing car seat and it also worked perfect for his Amazon Fire so he could watch movies on it. They were incredibly easy to install and at every stop, I could easily remove the iPad and Fire since I didn't want to leave them in the car. I got this so I could play videos on the tablet for my son on long drives without him turning it off by accident. It is easy to use and very sturdy, however the strap lands right on the power button so you have to finagle it a bit to get it to sit right. All in all I’m very happy though Read more

Great to have in a pinch! I try not to use phone or iPad but sometimes it’s a last resort option for extremely long road trips. This is made very well and held our iPad for our rear facing child. There are two sets of bands for holding devices, smaller <6" phones, and larger 7-8" tablets. I don't see even the large bands holding 10" tablets. I was able to stretch them around my Asus 10", but they're not going to hold for long. Felt like snapping. I bought this for a trip with my daughter using a Fire 7HD and it works perfectly. The large band fits well around a headrest vertically or horizontally, and its secure. It can be adjusted to change the viewing angle vertically as part of the smaller mount bit.
