The product is a simple piece of plastic that probably costs no more than $3 to manufacture. Having said that, it works well for its purpose. I assume part of the mark up is for the app, which I absolutely hate. I use it to time the inhales and exhales but all the other functions are terribly designed and quite annoying. Zero room for flexibility. You’re forced to watch videos before you practice and the questionnaires seem pretty useless as it does not make any difference in the program. I love this simple yet powerful little device.
