Great quality water weights. I love these and use them all the time. I have a bad back so I began exercising in a pool. These are the fourth pair I’ve tried and the best so far. The grip is solid and resistance is good too. Read more
I needed this for physical therapy in the swimming pool. When you first see them you think this is not going to do anything. However, when placed in the water you soon realize - it works. I started with only the 2 lb weight. But I plan on buying the other ones to increase the weight as I progress. I had rotator cuff surgery and this is great for therapy. Especially, since I'm in water. Read more
My homeowners association has a water aerobics class and the instructor wanted to add Thera-Band aquatic exercise dumbells for the attendees. She asked me to buy twelve pairs for the attendees. They really enjoy them and work with them at every class. I think she will want me to get the heavier version next because these are doing so well. Read more

Over priced, but good medium resistance for water work outs. Read more
I go to water classes at my local community center and they have water dumbells which are passed out during the class. However, they only have 1 set of the heavy resistance and I made it a point of being grabby and greedy to get them each time! (Actually, most of the gals just want the medium or light so I was ok but I thought I would just get my own pair to bring with me to class.) When these first arrived I was dismayed to see that each end had a PVC cap protruding, which I had not noticed from the photos. I decided to give them a try anyway and found that those protrusions in no way hampered any of the exercises (I pictured constantly getting bumped in the side and legs). And, I was pleasantly surprised to find that this set of heavy resistance were actually a bit "heavier" to use in the water than the ones I had been using at the community center. In addition, the padded hand grip was much more comfortable to hold onto. I think this is because the hand grips are a bit smaller around than the other set making it much easier to hold onto. In addition, the one-piece foam construction is a plus as compared to the other brand at the pool which has 2 pieces of foam on each side of the hand grip allowing a lot of water to accumulate between the 2 pieces and a lot of water dripped onto my head when we had to put the "weights" out of the water and over our heads. Really glad I went with this brand! Read more

If you are ready to graduate your Aqua barbell for something more challenging, this is it. I am currently alternating my time using it in the pool. It is longer and has more resistance in the water. You will instantly feel how it will firm up your arms and work towards more definition. Read more
