UPDATE - My wife has had these for over a year now, and could not be happier! The following review is from early 2020 shortly after we got them, but is fully valid a year+ later. I'm still not sure that the price is justified vs. cost to manufacture, but I'm considering a pair for myself as well - they are that good! ============== My wife has light-triggered migraines, and has become very light sensitive in recent years. I purchased both an indoor and outdoor pair for her and it has been a major improvement for her. She has been able to go outside on the brightest of days and drive herself, rather than have me drive because of the glare and brightness that makes it difficult to see clearly (she also has an eye disorder that is made worse by bright light). She now uses the indoor pair often for watching big screen TV movies, almost any time she's on the computer (due to the amount of blue light component from the screen), and at other times occasionally - and is amazed at the visual comfort level she's experiencing indoors as well as outdoors with bright lights. Expensive? Yes. Probably over priced? Not sure. Better than the alternatives? According to other reviews, this seemed to be the best, so we took that chance. She's never even considered a return for refund - well worth it to her!! Read more
I love the sunglasses, because they allow me to drive again. However after 4 months side piece fell out while I was out and about. After paying $100 I expect it to last longer than 4 months. The great news is after contacting Theraspecs, they sent a replacement pair free of charge. A+ service! Read more
work as advertised help my wife's migraines a lot. the indoor one's are great. Only wish they were a bit bigger. her normal glasses are small so the indoor slip over's work great. She tried using the outdoor ones with a slightly bigger tinted set of glasses and they didn't work nearly as well. As long as they fit over your glasses though they work great. Read more
These are a relatively cheap solution for light sensitivity. I wear them with or without other glasses. They easily fit over an eyepatch. It may take some time for your eyes to adjust but if you get light sensitivity in waves like I do, I put these on and it keeps the intensity down and the migraine at bay. Read more
These lenses are very comfortable on the eyes and help with light sensitivity, however the ear pieces extend past your ears and hold on to your head instead. Very Uncomfortable and I'm very disappointed. I have sent them back and am going to try a different style in hopes that they fit better, but only because the lenses are so good. Read more
I had terrible light sensitivity after corneal surgery and bought these for help with that. My regular sunglasses were just as effective as the ones for outdoors and the indoor pair did nothing to help. They did fit over my glasses! That's a plus! Thankfully, my sensitivity was self limiting. Read more
Indoor glasses help with glare exposure. The outdoor glasses are too dark and are of little use. Read more
