I've been using this toothpaste for about a year and a half now. When I tested high for fluoride in my system (turns out tea naturally has fluoride in it, and I drink a LOT of tea!), I needed to do two things: find a water filtration system that removed fluoride from my tap water, and find a toothpaste that had no fluoride either. Because my family has used (and been pleased) with some other Tom's products, I thought I'd give this a try... and because I've been so pleased, I haven't tried anything different since. I was introduced to this TOMs product from my dental hygienist because I have some receding gums on a few of my teeth. She used it to clean those areas and it worked amazing!! I started using this everyday twice a day as my toothpaste and although it helped with my sensitivity, i noticed mid day after eating and drinking i could feel my teeth have film on it. So i backed off to using it once a day then every other day. It built up against the sensitivity but didn’t do well when it came to having clean teeth later in the day. I have implants, and I love this toothpaste. It's safe to use on my implants and helps ease the occassional discomfort around the screws. My dentist approves it. The taste is mild enough to not bother me, but still leaves my mouth feeling fresh. Way better than most of the more popular brands that overwhelm me. My only complaint is that I can't find it in stores anymore. I can only find the whitening ones, which I'm not supposed to use on my implants... Read more
