I freaking use this thing to cook everything that will fit and even caught myself trimming meat to fit in it. It cooks pretty good it's got two heat settings "hot and I'm assuming Hell" just last night I made "drop in the pot stew" started by sauteing garlic and butter from a cold pot and I but a dab of butter in and added garlic , and turned on low, and almost instantaneously i heard butter starting to sizzle, (so be sure keep constantly stirring if applicable), it's not coated with anything, it's just stainless steel or something like that but no ceramic. But it will clean up fairly easily, I mean you don't need no heavy equipment or anything just the basic dish cleaning accoutrements. I do recommend it though it's a pretty good pot that heats very quickly and it's actually built pretty good! Also makes a pretty good and fast, cheeseburgers, thinking about cutting a London broil in half sear it up , dump in onions, cream of bacon and cream of celery soup chicken broth and let it cook til time to add a few baby red potatoes till tender, unplug , grab a cold beer , head out on deck and enjoy it with high definition mother nature, eat and reboot ....cheer's Read more

Has larger capacity than I expected. Heats fast. Works great with my power bank. I use the steamer to warm rice while the main entree is cooking in the main pot. Easy to use and clean. Read more

The media could not be loaded. This thing is utterly amazing. First time I used it today, so I reserve the right to edit the review if it blows up tomorrow. There is only a 90-day guarantee, so that is a con. But a HUGE pro is that somehow the laws of physics do not apply to this magical machine. No, the water in this pot boils quicker than any other water has the right to do while on Earth. I cannot explain it, but I am highly pleased. Another con, the interior, while stainless steel, mars easily. I boiled water from a bottle, so not hard water, and the bottom is discolored. I expect a little Bon Ami will do the trick. Overall, I am very happy with it. I got so I can make fresh lunch at work. Can't wait to try other recipes. I just made ramen today. I didn't give it the full five stars because of the interior discoloration. I did not allow the water to evaporate so this should not have occurred. Read more

UPDATE #2: After 6 months of daily use, still working like a champ! I no longer even touch the microwave and just cook fresh meals in this cooker when needed instead of big batches that get refrigerated. UPDATE: This thing is awesome. I use it every day, sometimes 4-5 times a day to make freshly cooked meals instead of freezing or refrigerating them The two temp settings are perfect for either hard boiling something quick or simmering for a long time. I toss all sorts of stuff into it and it comes out great every time. I can boil up a large batch of Quinoa in very little time. The bottom of the pot only heats up on half on the bottom, which is actually a cool feature. It forces the liquid and contents to circulate in the pot and helps to stir itself. I never have to take the lid off to stir because it circulates the cold and hot liquids. The low temp setting is ideal for long simmering a stew to get the meat tender. Perfect cooking pot for pretty much everything you need in a dorm room or limited living situation. With a battery bank generator, it can also be used remotely in a car or van. As long as it can handle 600 watts or more. Read more

Decent size for individual use. Heats up quickly and keeps food and liquids hot without burning. Use the handle because the exterior gets a little warm. Read more
