Pretty easy to install, and has been great for the few weeks since. Fits well... seat opening feels small, but I think this is a common theme for bidet seats given all the mechanics that need to fit behind. Does a great job of heating the water to remove any "shock" feeling. Tons of settings you can tweak, and the ability to set 4 user profiles is really useful so different people in the house don't need to constantly be shuffling the settings. Read more

Great toilet seat. However , this toilet seat was installed previously before I received it that sure would be nice to know before I buy it. All materials were in the box.However, the box was kind of ripped and taped back up, had to Sanitize the seat. Seat was dirty. All functions we're working properly after install. I purchased this directly from Amazon.com rather than from this seller. I originally bought the C5, but after about 15 seconds the water turned cold, so I switched to the KS5, which has a continuous hot water supply. I’ve been using this product for over a month now and it feels very good overall. The toilet seat temperature and the hot water temperature are both very stable, with no sudden changes from hot to cold. The water temperature adjustment can be turned on or off. Both the seat temperature and water temperature have three settings: low (or constant), medium, and high. There are five levels of water pressure. At the highest level (level 5), the spray is strong enough to clean the anus very thoroughly, so wiping isn’t necessary. The drying function is also good, but it takes quite a long time. At the highest drying temperature, it takes about two minutes to dry completely. There are two wash positions (front and rear), and the wand can move forward and backward. However, the rear position is too far back and the water can’t really reach unless I bend forward, so I rarely use it. Most of the time I use the front position. There are five adjustable positions in total; the last two rear positions are almost unusable because they’re out of reach, while the middle and front three positions are right where the spray needs to be. The remote control has buttons on both sides. Some of the functions on the side with more complex controls don’t work, such as automatically opening and closing the lid. In fact, the KS5 doesn’t have this function at all, even though the remote still has a button for it. The only thing I don’t like is that when you sit down, the premist function starts automatically, and the mist makes your bare butt feel damp, which is a very strange sensation. This model does not have EWATER+ wand cleaning or automated air deodorizer functions; the standard self-cleaning wand must be activated manually. The KS5 manual recommends doing a deep clean once a month. As of today, I’m quite satisfied with this product. As for how long it will last, I’ll update my rating if any issues come up. Read more

Complete downgrade from the C5 and very disappointing. We’ve told many that the Toto C5 is a great product, comfortable, warm, deodorizes the air, and of course cleans. Now the KS5 is replacing it, no longer had the premium features of deodorizer and premist and other things and now it costs more. What makes it worse, is it squeaks when sitting on it. The seat itself is great, but despite the vast majority of all residential supply shut off valves having 3/8" thread, the Toto ships with a 1/2" threaded T fitting married to a proprietary thread for the seat's water supply hose. This is not a Home Depot fitting, order it online and wait 3 days. Don't remove the old seat or install the new one until you have it. The Toto fitting is molded plastic, best guess it cost them less than 50 cents. Why not supply fittings for both 3/8 & 1/2. Read more
