I had my heart set on a table this size that was almost 3x the price of this one. I had to settle for something cheaper and I couldn’t be happier. This was the only table on the internet or in person I could find that would fit our whole family and was sturdy/quality. It was also the only thing I could find to fit my desired aesthetic. It is an incredibly well made piece, and I can see this giving us a lot of beautiful memories over the years! This was very quick and easy to unbox and set up. Each piece is very heavy and solid! Only downside is due to the center supports, most over chairs cannot put 5 on each side, so unless you use fold out chairs or very skinny ones, this is more of a 10 person max table. Especially for comfort of elbow room. Delivery was incredibly easy and the men were great. It ended up being early morning and they rang and knocked multiple times even though we missed their call and were very tired! We were so grateful they didn’t do what most do and call, then give up and say they couldn’t deliver. This came from Canada so shipping did take a little while but nothing we consider unreasonable for such a heavy item. I can’t say enough good things about it! Read more

This is a beautiful, well made and sturdy table! It looks beautiful in our home and we love that it’s adjustable up to a 12. One downside, when only putting in one leaf we could not fit two chairs on one side even though there was a gap. We had to add another leaf. Regardless it’s a beautiful table. Strongly recommend. We ordered this in black. I did have to call customer service because the shipping label said it was coming as a different finish, but apparently it meant black and we got what we expected. It's heavy, well constructed and solid. Loving this table! Most times we leave it with just one leaf for my husband and I. Last night we had guests and we put in another leaf, and it's seated all four of us very comfortably with the clearance for the legs which are a bit wide. We are hosting Thanksgiving this year, I can't wait to see what we can do with it. We also ordered the bench shown in the picture of the bowl on it. We don't use the bench for just two or four of us. I ordered chairs from somewhere else, because I wanted to have the dining room experience anytime without having to pull out the bench. Also, they didn't have the style I wanted in the color I wanted. It does accommodate standard height chairs. Our chairs are about 18 and 1/2 in from the floor to the seat, I add this because I had a difficult time understanding what 'average sized' chairs meant to people. I think anything up to 19 in would be perfectly fine, beyond that I'm not sure. Thrilled with this purchase! Read more

I’m going to love this table and bench. I purchased in black and the grain and color are so pretty. I’m kinda old and knew I’d need one of my sons to help me unpack and move them , but NO! I was able to do the table leaves, bench and table! They were packaged so well and secure and I was able to move and nest the pieces in their temporary location. The slides on both the bench and especially the table are smooth and easy to do. I’m able to place the leaves securely on my own. Couldn’t do that with my old heavy dinning room set. The ability to transform my dinning room from a pretty intimate setting to a large family gathering (on my own!) will be so easy and fun. I highly recommend anyone interested in the Transformers Table, but may have doubts, watch a few YouTube videos, especially those demonstrated by the company. What you see is what you will get. LOVE. I will say, we had to unscrew some manufacturer screws upon arrival in order to line the table up to close correctly, but once assembled the correct way, we absolutely LOVE that we can expand and contract our table to fit our space needs. Read more
