This thing works. I bought the rest of the kit from another brand based in reviews. I bought this thinking “it’s just a block with magnets. This worked quite well with my Horl sharpener. The magnets are strong and hold the knife well, but you do need to keep the magnetic surface clean so the blade doesn’t slide around. It’s a good value with a simple, effective design that makes sharpening really easy. Read more
