I researched these steam cleaners like crazy, looking for the highest power and hottest steam I could find in a residential steamer. I was confident this would do the job. I was wrong. Upon opening the box, there is the main unit, a plastic beaker, a plastic funnel, various extension wand attachments, hot mitts, and a drawstring bag of attachments. I put water in the tank, plugged it in, and waited for the lights to turn off to indicate it was at maximum pressure (about 5-6 minutes). I used the concentrated nozzle to point this at my brand-new grout (as in, just put in two weeks ago). I was trying to lift some surface dirt from the grout from someone tracking in mud. I had that nozzle as close as I could get to the grout and just let it sit there, and it didn't budge any of the grime. This is not old grime -- this is on very new tile and it had no effect. I then tried it on my kitchen backsplash tile. Nothing. No cleaning capability whatsoever, even on the surface of the tiles. I then tried it around my sink faucet. Some minimal grime was moved, but left very visible grime that this definitely should have lifted. Out of curiosity, I pointed it directly at a bar of soap at full steam, thinking it would melt it. Nope. Nada. Nothing. It may as well have not even been there. It didn't leave even a tiny indent. I mean, if this thing can't even melt even the surface of a bar of soap, that tells me it isn't doing jack. This tool doesn't do anything a good old cleaning rag and some water won't do. This steamer was exactly what I wanted. It has higher temperature than any other steamer & greater psi. The 2 most important things. It worked great, but then I contacted the seller to buy more brass brushes (for cleaning grout). They do not sell them & suggested I look for another company to see if they fit. NO there is no other company with replacement brushes that fit. What a HUGE disappointment. If you don't need the brass brushes, then by all means this is a great machine. Read more
