This fulfills all its claims. I’m an older gal with arthritis in my hands and using a heavy blow dryer and round brush was just getting to hard to handle. Saw this thought I’d give it a try with some skepticism. Much to my surprise it’s very light very easy to use and doesn’t tangle. My hair is on the thin side and down to the middle of my back (and usually in a yoga bun)so blow drying it straight is a chore. I was worried it might tangle up, but it doesn’t once the hair is dry it releases really nicely. You do kind of have to come to terms with turning on the heat before you put it up to your head because you can’t really do that with one hand because of the way it’s designed. The noise level on the medium setting is minimal compared to a blow dryer. I do get some nice shine and volume and I like it enough I’m gonna get my haircut since I can blow it out again. Read more

I am 74 with fine, thin, shoulder length hair. I like that this is smaller and more light weight than most dryers of this type. Also I didn't want an ionizing dryer because they make fine hair flatter with less body. The temperature settings are hot, warm and fan with no heat. The hot has a high fan and drys very quickly. The warm has a lower fan which is good for styling but would take a while to actually dry wet hair. I wish the warm setting had a fast fan because the hot setting seems almost too hot for fine fragile hair. I am just careful to keep it moving on hot and use the warm to finish styling. I find this much easier to use than a blow dryer and brush. I can flip my head down, brush and dry, then flip back upright to smooth and style. It straightens well and drys quickly. The control ring is pretty basic but it stays where you set it. It seems about the same noice level as other blow dryers. It is a useful basic model that does the job quickly and easily. Read more
I really liked the hair dryer, but there's one thing they should improve, in my opinion and experience. It has great drying power and does the job well. It's a good size to handle and comfortable. The downside is that the brush bristles are very soft or not designed for high heat because they've become deformed and flattened. I bought it less than a month ago, and it feels like I've been using it for years because of how it's held up! I'm not sure if it would work for people with finer, thinner, or shorter hair. This is my new favorite brush dryer for fine, short hair. It doesn’t get too hot (huge win), actually gives noticeable volume, and works fast despite the compact size. Even better than mine that have been 4+ times the cost! I can get lift at the roots without frying my hair or spending forever styling. If you struggle with flat, fine hair and hate overly hot tools (or heavy ones that aren’t designed well, this one is a game changer. So easy to use. This is the 3rd blow dryer brush that I purchased - the prior 2 were too big for my above-shoulder length fine hair. These brushes are large and a little awkward to handle and this TYMO 2.0 is a bit smaller and works well on my hair. I first dry my hair with a regular hair dryer to the barely damp stage and then use the blow dryer brush. It gives nice lift and body and takes out a couple of stubborn curls. Read more
This dryer brush is great, put outs a lot of heat on high. Like that the control is on the bottom, nothing in thr way when handling, also very lightweight, but pwerful, Have been using since last year, no problems. Read more
I originally received a used item. They replaced it with a new one within 2 days. Besides that, this brush works great! I have shoulder length, fine, curly hair. I use Kristen Ess shampoo/conditioner. EvaNY primer spray. And this brush does the rest! I only use it on low setting. The shorter size lets me maneuver it to where I give myself a blow out every blow dry. I haven’t even used a straightener or curler after using this brush. The noise level isn’t significant. My hair stays soft for days. I love it. I think it’s easy to use, and the design works great. I really hope it doesn’t break down on me like I’ve seen in other reviews. Read more
