These are really amazing shorts. I'd put them against any of the high-end brands in terms of fit and design. They are great for weightlifting or for more active cardio workouts. I know TYR has a long history in swim but it is great to see them coming out with so many great CrossFit workout products. The "4-way" stretch on these shorts is really nice. These are very well made shorts that are not only comfortable but also look great. They are casual yet also look good with a nice dress shirt. I’ve been wearing these almost daily for my morning walks, as well as daily wear. I really like the thin fabric that is very stretchable and moves freely while walking and hiking. I also like that they have a large pocket where I can store my cell phone or my keys. They are a bit on the higher end budget wise, so keep that in mind. Read more

I wondered what made these shorts different than the other workout shorts I already have and as soon as I opened the package it was obvious. The waistband is substantial and yet very comfortable whether walking, running, or doing a cardio workout in the gym. They don't ride up or slide down. I'm a 34 waist and medium fit perfectly. Aside from being really comfortable, I really like the number of pockets. Two normal size pockets and a normal size zipper pocket. Since I can fit my phone and small key ring in the zipper pocket, I don't need to carry a fanny pack anymore. The Tyr 9 inch shorts are made in PRC (china). The shorts are made with a fabric that is 54% recycled polyester, 32% polyester, and 14% spandex. The fabric has good two way stretch from the top to bottom and not side to side. The legs are long enough to cover down to almost my knee. The shorts are comfortable for all day wear or a long run. The media could not be loaded. These are really well-made shorts. The material is a "hydrosphere fabric" which I've never heard of before, but I can say that it feels great, offers a good bit of stretch and mobility and does appear to be quite moisture-wicking. The fit is true to size. I'm wearing a large which is my normal size and they fit perfectly. Also, the color is true to what you see in the sample photos. These shorts are very nice and have great features. The fabric is fantastic - lightweight and moisture wicking. The extra pocket storage is also ideal. The only issue my husband had with these shorts is the waistband was too small. He's a large man and the XXL, while it fit, wasn't comfortable in the waist. However, he really liked the length. Longer length has been more difficult to find recently as the trend has shifted to short shorts. Fortunately these bucked that trend! Read more

The TYR brand workout shorts are good quality, lightweight, fashionable, and comfortable. They fit well and do a good job of wicking sweat. There is a good-sized waistband which sits well and doesn't roll over. The length at the legs is very good and comes to near the knees. This olive color is the hottest rage. The shorts have just the right amount of stretch. They fit just a tab big, but probably not an entire size. My son is 5'9", 150 pounds and we chose a Med. The shorts also have zipper pockets and a nice little emblem on the leg. I would give them 5 out of 5 on their look alone. Read more
