Very bright and appears to be about 5000K color temperature. Does not have an on or off switch, appears fairly well made and heavy-duty. Comes with like a hook with a set screw to mount it, also has a safety cable and clip to catch it if something broke loose which is good as it is fairly heavy. I think this would be nice over a work bench or shop light, or could even put on an extension cord and hang in a tree in the yard if needed a temporary light however not sure this is weatherproof. The directions showed things like wiring the cord to the fixture, then that cord into like a junction box but this was already completed. Steps 2 and 5 were already completed when received this light and include nothing about a clip with a screw that is used to secure this that mine came with. My unit came with a plug on the end so step 5 is irrelevant as just needs to be plugged in. The biggest thing I see is item #6 where it says "The rated voltage of this UFO high bay light is 120V. Please do not use it under voltage of 220V, 277V, of 480V." I know what they mean by this but it should say do not use over 120V, not suitable for use on 220V, 277V, 480V. The way it is worded now seems to almost contradict saying do not use over 120V when they say do not use UNDER 220V, 277V or 480V, as to me it sounds like one of all of those could be valid inputs and you don't want to be below those voltages. This has three LED arrays on top of it for some reason, seems sort of strange to me, but I guess I can also see if these are installed in like an open ceiling with beams, sometimes it is dark if have to work up there. This light is designed to be hung on the ceiling and direct flood light towards the shop floor. The ceiling in my own shop are 12 feet high, at that distance the light circle is sufficient to provide a usable area of bright light. The area of my shop that requires more light can be covered with three or four of these fixtures. The fixtures themselves have sturdy lenses to protect the LEDs and a strong case made of aluminum with many heat dispersion fins. The light mounts with a sturdy top hook and includes a safety wire for added protection. These lights are excellent and I highly recommend them. Read more

I got this ufo high bay light to install in the peak of my garage and I am really impressed with the brightness. Installing it made me realize that it is heavier than I expected. It does have a hook and cord but until you have those up you have to hang on to everything and the ladder. Overall I am very happy with the light Read more
