I love the blaze of light from this Sokply high bay lamp. Instead of mounting this light in a high ceiling, I use it as diffused flood lighting in my work shop, reflecting the flood of light off the white ceiling for full, shadow-free illumination. I affixed it to a mobile stand, so I can place it where I need it, and the swivel bracket allows me to aim it on something other than the ceiling if needed. I use it to illuminate projects in my shop, or my house. I recently had a contractor remodel a room in my house, …and they quickly latched onto my mobile LED flood for general illumination, and for painting. (Hint, it’s also great as a shadow-free light for working jigsaw puzzles.) Sometimes the full deluge of light can be a bit much, so I really like the option with this light to select from several brightness settings. I like the idea that there is an option to buy a remote controller to dim the light. But I’m not sure I’ll use it, since for my usage so far, I’m hands-on. Read more

Light is very solid and well constructed, Led's are very securely mounted on good solid surface. For my usage I was replacing 4' Led tube fixtures. This single high mount light was able to replace two of the shop light fixtures and has a greater light brightness along with a larger apparent coverage area. Although I am not employing the "dimming" capability of this fixture it does make for a good option if you are looking to taylor the light output for a particular effect. You might pick one of the other color spectrum/outputs to get the correct light output for your application. I run this on the 5K output and am very happy with how it performs and provides excellent light coverage and brightness in my shop. In my application I wanted maximum light since it is a work area that also doubles as a storage location. Just my preference. We live where it gets down to zero degrees outside and in an unheated shop space when you first walk in and fire up the lights the old fluorescent lights used to just sit and glow until/if they ever got warmed up before producing some light output these were replace with 4' Led fixtures which were a great improvement but these newer high bay cluster lights immediately come on at full brightness and so far had not diminished as the space warms up while being worked in. The light coverage produce by a single light is much better for the open shop conept, the one draw back is the circular pattern so you may have to overlap them some where you have sharp corners like the end of a building or along straight stretches of wall so that light coverage is sufficient to fill in the gaps left by using a circular pattern over an oval pattern produced by the 4' long light fixtures. Nothing significant just something to keep in mind when calculating how many you may need for your application. Another plus is the multiple mounting options this light gives you. You can mount 4 ways: top mounting, chain mounting, connecting rod mounting, wall mounting so finding an installation method to fit your needs should be easy. I have a V at the roof peak and mounted them using the wall mounts to the ceiling and angled them across the space to give a cross pattern which filled the space with a much better light pattern than with my old 4' lights suspended from the ceiling. I knew these were going to be bright but I think I underestimated just how bright this light truly is. I only need 2 of these in a 10x15 shop to have a well lit working environment. The lights also have not affected my cameras for shooting video. Most leds end up giving off a bunch of flickering when using a camera and has been a source of frustration with my old lights. I do not recommend mounting these light less than 10 feet off the ground. They are too bright and the light is a bit to focused to be that low. Above 10 ft and you will get a perfect light spread you wont end up with a hot spot of light. Super easy to install. So easy you don't need the quality instructions that come with the light. These light do get warm. It would not surprise me to find out that if a garage door got too close that you could end up with a burn spot. Ask me how I know. As long as you leave a reasonable air gap every things perfect. Being able to adjust the color temperature on this light has made my days so much better. I have this mounted above my welding bench and having a 5000k light has been something I don't think I can live without. These lights really are a great choice and the price is fantastic. Read more

Like the super bright 5000k daylight color. The light came with a great mounting bracket and hook as well. Nice to see UL certification, important for safety. Just realized though that I needed a light with a motion sensor, there is no facility to put one in this one either. However they do have dimmer control wires if you need to attach it. Came with a shorter 4-ft power cord that is perfect, especially if you are mounting near an outlet. Overall powerful LED and great high-bay light. Read more
