This hat is surprisingly thick. I am actually impressed with the construction and materials of this hat. I ordered the medium, and it fits just right. The material is soft and comfortable, perfect for long renaissance events! This hat makes it quick to get ready for court and still look great. I added a brooch and feathers to the side. There is a notch on each side which makes decorating easy. The material is a polyblend, so this hat is perfect for the winter. It has the cotton to let the scalp breathe, while the polyester helps trap heat for warmth. For less than $17, I feel this is more than superb value. I can wear this hat to keep warm in winter court over and over. I am so glad I can recommend ordering this hat. Read more
