The longer angle base makes a huge difference, especially when sharpening larger kitchen knives. It feels very stable and well-balanced during use, which gives me a lot more confidence compared to shorter or cheaper models. The rolling mechanism is super smooth, and the replaceable honing discs are a big plus. Switching between the 15°, 18°, 20°, and 22° angles is simple and intuitive, making it easy to get the perfect edge depending on the knife. Simple, and functional product. The magnet was not as strong as another brand I’ve tried, but it was twice as expensive. I love to cook and want my knives SHARP. This is great for kitchen/Chef’s knives. The magnet makes it hard to secure my lock blade hunting knives. Read more

The device designed well, the grinding process is simple, but it takes some time to use it in the right way. The final result (grinding) is not bad at all. The biggest problem is with #3000 grinding disk (yellow color). The material of it is so soft and brittle, that you are removing material from the grinding disk itself and not grinding/polishing the knife. Other three disks are better quality, but longevity of the grinding disks are questionable. Read more
