This attachment works great! I mainly bought it to grate my own cheese, and it makes that task quick and easy. I love that it offers four different sizes, depending on what you need. Just a heads-up: it’s designed for KitchenAid mixers. I actually have a GE, but my husband was able to retrofit it to work since GE doesn’t seem to offer anything like this. Definitely a handy tool and a great alternative. Read more
Great for the price
Really impressed with the quality. I bought it primarily to finely grate imported parmigiana cheese. It did a perfect job - hallelujah, at $30.00 a pound, I did not want to produce a course grind. Cleanup easy - straight into the dishwasher. I am sure the other blades will work just as well. And it is much less expensive than many of the other offerings. Read more
Good quality and value
I have used it 4 times now and it works very well. Good quality and easy to assemble and use. The only drawback it has is when grating the cheese you have to brace under the bottom while applying pressure to feed the cheese into the grater.
