I don't often write reviews on products . . . But this one's definitely worth a review. It is amazing to me how much pet hair this removes from a rug Immediately after it was already vacuumed with a high quality vacuum. The attached photo is taken after fully vacuuming the rug and following with the uproot cleaner. In this photo I have used the tool to "rake" about 2/3rd of this rug. This tool works so well and has held up well over the 6 months since purchased and appears to do no damage to my Ruggable rugs ( although used with caution on certain types of furniture fabrics) Since the ruggable rugs are also washable, the rugs wash So much better if I use this tool before attempting to wash it. The media could not be loaded. OMGSH YOU NEED THIS! The video says it all! I have an American mix breed large terrier breed, adorbs, high energy, but oh my Gawd THE HAIR! We have a 1950’s style Kirby that would take white off rice, but it sucks up the thin washable rug we love. We also have an in house vacuum (1980 and it still works) but the belt on the brush head is broken - gotta replace that. We also have an amazing robot vacuum that is amazing but also sucks up the rug. This tool is LEGIT! It’s also a work out- manual carpet de-shedding! I purchased the combo pack. This thing works magic on our rugs. We have a golden retriever , so lots of hair. We vacuum constantly and are super clean but this tool was able to get so much more that we couldn’t see! Read more

The larger head works pretty good but leaves clumps behind. When using the large head with the pole, my arms quickly got tired - definitely more work than using a vacuum but it does pick up the hair that the vacuum left behind. I found the smaller hand tool works better and was easier to use, although I had to be on hands and knees to use it. Will be returning this product but ordering the small handheld one. Read more

I ordered the Uproot 3-piece package hoping to better tackle pet hair on my carpets, cat trees, chairs, and couch. With two cats and my own hair, we shed a lot, and the vacuum can't get everything. Uproot works by creating static electricity between the metal coils on the brushes and the material being brushed. The coils are fine and tight. They didn't hurt or cut me when I touched them. I wish I could say the same for my fabrics - more on that below. The tools worked... overall. On my tough carpet and the tough carpet of one of my cat trees it worked well. No snags or loosened fabric. It required a few swipes to gather most of the material - one go-over was insufficient, especially on my cat tower which I don't vacuum much. Where the Uproot has severe limits is with finer and gentle fabrics. Uproot cleaned another cat tree very well, it caught quite a lot of cat hair - and a decent bit of fabric, too. No harm done, it's just a cat tree. When I went to clean my sofa and my dining chair cushions, however, Uproot largely failed to clean the material and instead created a few snags. I ran the handheld tool as well as the mini rake over the fabric. I did it gently and at the angle suggested. I watched as Uproot scraped at the fabric but failed to catch hair that I could see with my eyes. Uproot works. I can't say it works terribly or that it works well. It really depends on the material you're trying to clean. Finer materials seem to be a no-go. Touch carpeting seems to be the target here. I'm glad I'll have some extra tools to make sure my carpet and cat trees are clean. I'm disappointed my couch and chairs will remain difficult to clean. It's a "meh" review from me. Read more

This tool is fantastic for getting up my dogs hair! Super easy (and soothing) to use! Much easier and quicker to get the hair up in a pinch versus dragging out the vacuum! Highly recommend this product! Read more
