Ive had trouble for about 2 weeks with my external LG monitors. I thought it was a power issue or CPU issue. Turns out I just needed a new docking station. This unit is AMAZING. The laptop and monitors recognize a better connection and now and I have way better resolution on the two externals. Wish I'd gotten this sooner. From the very beginning, my personal computer's monitors were flickering on and off randomly. It was frustrating, but since it functioned well with my work computer, which is what I primarily needed it for, I continued to use it. After roughly 1.5 weeks, it began exhibiting the same behavior on my work computer. I needed one right away, I visited Best Buy and purchased a quality one. Everything works as expected — dual HDMI outputs, USB ports, and PD charging are functional. However, the power delivery seems to supply less power than advertised, which affect charging speed. I bought this because I needed more ports for my MacBook Pro and after giving the MacOS permissions it allowed me to extend my screen and plug in additional accessories. I now have 3 more open ports using my additional adapter also connected through this. Great addition and went with this over the one with two HDMI’s because of the limited screen configurations for that with Mac. Read more
