Great compact hub for travel!

I am so happy with this hub! It is nice quality, well-constructed and durable, and it is a nice compact size for travel. Super easy to use with my MacBook Air M4 - plug and play! - and all of my devices connect perfectly and function just as expected. Truly no complaints, this is great for adding ports to my Air! Hundreds of files on old camera cards recovered--all I had to do was plug it in!

I wasn't sure when I ordered this item that it would work with my computer to do what I needed it to do, but I decided I would try it. My problem was my fairly new laptop that did not come with a card slot. I didn't think I needed one until I came across a trove of micro-SD cards from my cameras (the digital ones I used before cell phones all came with even better cameras built in) and I had no way to access what was on them. So I ordered this item and plugged it in to my laptop...VOILA! An icon for the device appeared on my laptop screen, I clicked on the icon, a whole bunch of photo files popped up next and all I had to do was download them! I was so pleased to find family photos from 20 or more years ago that I had completely forgotten I had! I don't have time now to go through all my forgotten files, but I will this winter, and I'll be ready to move them all over to usb thumb drives that I can share with my four kids, who are 29 to 42. What a wonderful little device this is! It was worth hundreds of dollars to me, which is what I would have been willing to pay someone to download and save all these precious photos that I thought were lost. And it was so easy to use--just had to plug it in to my computer and follow the prompts. Read more

Would I Buy This?

Being in the new Mac world having one of these is really mandatory as all things are not USB C. I've owned several but this one is the best build quality and processes data faster than the others. The belkin brand has always been solid and this is no different. For me, I would have liked 1 more USB A port but I can make this work without feeling like something is lacking. All ports hold a solid connection and overall it just makes life easier. Would I Buy This - Yes Value for the money - Good My rating system breakdown: 1 Star = Gross misrepresentation of a product, made of inferior materials, or does not perform the stated function 2 Stars = Needs improvement: Doesn’t work consistently or is manufactured with low-level materials 3 Stars = It works as stated, but I am not impressed with the craftsmanship or the overall aesthetics OR the value does not align with the cost. 4 Stars = Meets expectations 5 Stars = Exceeds expectations and would be worth a splurge Disclaimer: This is a review of a free but taxable product made available via Amazon’s Vine program. Honesty is encouraged; the seller gave no incentives. All opinions are my own, and I pride myself on unbiased reviews that can help others decide whether or not the product is what they want. Great mini docking hub for your laptop

Works as advertised, I connected my monitor through the HDMI port, my mouse and keyboards to the USB ports, and then plugged the usb-c cord into my laptop and voila, my laptop is now docked and I have full functionality for my home office. I liked this over another one I had purchased because all the connections are on one side so I can face it so the cords all go out the side facing the back of my desk while it is hooked to my laptops USB-C port. It feels study, is nice and compact, and is a good value for the money. It was easy to setup as it didn't require any software installations, my computer just picked it up. I have a Lenovo Legion from 2023. I don't believe it can charge your laptop but I have a gaming setup that would need more than a USB-C would push anyway so my laptop is powered through its own power supply. Bottom line, good mini hub for docking a laptop. Read more

Reliable and Handy USB-C Hub for Outreach and Everyday Use

This Belkin USB-C Hub has been a great little tool for my ministry work. I use it with my laptop to connect to a TV via HDMI, and it works perfectly every time. The picture quality is clear, and there’s no lag or signal drop. I also use it to connect USB devices like flash drives, and everything runs smoothly. It’s simple, plug-and-play, and just works without any hassle. What really makes this hub helpful is that my laptop only has a USB-C port and no HDMI, so this fills that gap perfectly. The extra USB-A ports, SD, and microSD slots are nice to have as well, especially when I’m transferring files or photos. Overall, it’s compact, reliable, and has made my setup easier whether I’m at home or out serving. Definitely a useful tool to keep in your bag. Read more

Solid option for transfer or working off a few external drives

I have another camera card reader that only reads camera cards. With this I'm able to hook in my phone and an sd or mini sd to transfer camera pictures between PC, phone and storage. Being my main reason for grabbing; its done its job. I thought it was going a little slow when i realized it was moving a lot more pictures than i thought. Over 1,000 lol. I thought it was just a handful. Something about the way chromebooks show these things. Might have to go back to a full on laptop again. Other than the couple of uses I have for it I can also connect two flash drives in 3.0's/SS inputs. There is also an HDMI. This thing has you covered for whatever file type or device your using. Belkins a trusted name. Better to go with something you recognize than get beat on something a little cheaper. Could get lucky, but this is a solid option. Read more
