First one I received was defective. Wouldn't work with any PC I tried. Got sent a replacement and that one works great. My laptop only has one USB port and no card slots so this is exactly what I needed. Read more
Works great. Good transfer speed. Allowed me to read SD cards to my desktop using one of the usb 3.0 sockets in the back. Just be aware that it has power limitations and it will not be able to supply power to two external hard drives at the same time. Had no problem with a single external hard drive. Read more

I am so happy with this hub splitter! I wanted to transfer music from an SD card to a flash drive. I was able to plug this into my computer and directly transfer from storage to storage, quickly. Over 550 songs in 8 minutes. Was easy peasy to do. Read more
Update: Purchased on 7/3 and today is 9/17. The hub no longer works for much of anything I've tried on it. USB game pad, Logitech mouse USB dongle, keyboard, my UPS monitoring cable. The only device that has been working reliably with this is an old Western Digital external hard drive that has it's own power source. I suspect the issue is that this hub is not passing though any power to run the devices being connected. If the device has it's own separate power source, then it might work. I say "might" because my UPS has it's own power source (that's the whole point of the device) and that still didn't work. I don't know if I just got a bad one or what, but it did not last very long at all. Less than 3 months of use here. I no longer recommend this product. My original comments below for my initial thoughts when I first started using it. This model is good for what it is but don’t expect too much. This one doesn’t take power from an external supply, so beware that it may not supply enough juice from the computer’s USB port alone to power all the devices plugged into this extension. On mine, I have two external hard drives plugged in and they work normally, but there isn’t enough power left to also have my Xbox 360 gamepad plugged in at the same time. If you’re not trying to run multiple hard drives or other power hungry devices at the same time, you might be okay. Looks like I’m going to need a different model that has an input power connection.
