Sure, it is obviously not the dentist office quality, but it does the job. It is sharp on all the edges and is stainless steel. I used it for the first time today and it scrapped all the plaque off my teeth with ease because it’s so sharp. Be careful and go slowly especially around the gum area. Let me preface. I saw a big black spec in one of my molars and was afraid it was a cavity. Alternatively I thought it might have been a shard of pepper. I brushed my teeth multiple times and it wouldn't come off. As a last ditch effort I ordered this to see if I could pick it put as I had no tooth picks. Took off 1 star as it came 2 days after promised delivery date. After it did arrive it felt heavy but badly cut on the tips. I washed it in iso alcohol on both sides as I suspect it wasn't disinfected at the package place Used it after thoroughly cleaning it and sure enough after 2 tries a black piece of peppercorn came out. The product did its job. Will I ever use it again? Probably not but I'll have it if I do. For $5 it was worth a piece of mind for me. Read more
