This review is for the Reva V3 Sonic Electric Toothbrush. I received a toothbrush, 4 brush heads, a case, and a charging cable. This toothbrush has 6 different modes, and each mode has a 2 minute countdown timer on the brush. The modes are listed in Chinese in the instruction manual, but luckily in English on the brush itself. They are: Clean, White, Sensitive, Refresh, Gum Care, and Splash Proof (no vibration). I’m not sure what a difference these modes make, but it’s still fun to have the variety. It's pretty easy to figure out how to use this item, even without reading through the instructions. This toothbrush comes inside of a hardshell travel case that holds the base and two brush heads. Although, I don’t think I’ll be using this for travel, as the toothbrush itself is a little too heavy for that. Plus the case is pretty difficult to open – I had to slide my nails underneath and get a good grip on it in order to pry it open. It may prove inconvenient for anyone with dexterity issues. My only issue is that the included brushes are kind of small and soft. I prefer slightly larger brush heads, but that’s a personal preference. Apparently this has a 200-day battery, which means it will be quite a long time before it needs to be charged. Item arrived with a 100% battery life. Read more

So far so good. This is a capable electric tooth brush. it cleans well. The screen is clear and readable. The over pressure sensor cuts the tooth brush entirely which is an interesting and probably better functionality choice. The different modes all seem to work well. It feels sturdy and durable. At this price point, I'm surprised who nice it is. A very nice value. I haven't made it 200 days yet, but battery life is holding strong a month in at least. The travel case is also just as good as the one that comes with the big name brushes. It actually feels a little nicer than the one that came with my OralB. The one issue with this tooth brush is the resonance. It is at a frequency that travels from your teeth to your ear really easily and makes it kind of annoying to use. This is not a problem we've ever had with I assume lower frequency Oral B tooth brushes we used previously. It also has a "Waterproof" mode that doesn't seem to be documented well. My assumption is it's like the one on the Apple watch that ejects water, but here it's badly translated. Read more

I have mixed feelings about this toothbrush after using it for a bit. The design and features are really impressive, especially the multiple brushing modes and the fact that it charges via USB-C, which is convenient and modern. It comes with two brush heads and a travel case, and the packaging gives it a premium feel. The cleaning power is good, and the brush itself feels solid and well built. The only issue I noticed is that it pauses for a second or two when you apply too much pressure. On one hand, that’s a helpful safety feature to prevent brushing too hard, but on the other, it can interrupt brushing if you naturally use firmer pressure like I do. The brush heads are a bit smaller than what I’m used to, but they still do a thorough job. Overall, I think it’s a solid toothbrush that could help train you to brush more gently, which is a good thing. The tech, travel case, and build quality make the price for the value good, and I would still recommend it, depending on your brushing style. Battery life is as advertised and does not drain hastily. This electric toothbrush was better than I had anticipated. It was powerful and left my teeth with a really nice clean and smooth feeling. There is a little color screen on this toothbrush which is pretty neat to see what mode it's on and the battery level. I've been mostly using the cleaning mode on this toothbrush and it's been so easy to use and functional. There's been times that the pressure sensor light has come on while I have been brushing to let me know that I am being too harsh on my gums. I haven't had to recharge the battery yet, so far this toothbrush has a really strong battery but time will tell if it can last the full 200 days that it claims. This toothbrush is such an amazing upgrade compared to my old one and it's been such a great value. Read more

Overall, a quite nice toothbrush, with some really annoying design flaws. It does clean well, the different modes are all fairly normal useful modes I could see value in the different strengths. The over-pressure sensor works well, and even pauses the timer while it's detecting over-pressure, which is the little design features that make you think "someone really spent some care designing this". That makes the couple of glaring issues so weird - firstly, the little round screen feels like it should be a button, and I still intuitively find myself pressing that instead of the button occasionally when I'm not paying attention, but over time that will stop being an annoyance as I get used to it. But the big one is the button function - you press it, it turns on, press again within the first few seconds, it switches modes instead of turning off. You could easily design it so that double presses switch through modes, and single presses only turn on and off. I turn my toothbrush off before taking it out of my mouth, so it doesn't splatter, then when rinsing - turn it on again, which helps with the rinse. When I then go to turn it off again, it instead changes modes, and I have to wait an unknown amount of time before I can actually turn it off, which is surprisingly irritating. Other than those gripes - Good brush modes, cleans very well, over-pressure sensor seems to be set to a good level, and it's a pretty great toothbrush for the price, aside from the annoyances.
