The suction is ridiculous, like 105+ lbs ridiculous. I pumped it onto my dashboard maybe six or seven times and it hasn’t budged once, even when I hit potholes hard enough to make my coffee jump out the cup holder. I was skeptical about that little vacuum pump thing at first, but it just locks in and stays. The magnet is stupid strong too, 3800gf or whatever they call it. I have an iPhone 16 Pro with a thin case and it snaps on with a super satisfying click. I can shake the whole car and the phone doesn’t move. I even tested it with my wife’s chunky Android (stuck one of the metal rings on her case) and it holds just as good. Being able to spin it 360° and tilt it any direction is clutch. I switch between portrait for maps and landscape for music in like two seconds, one-handed, without looking. The arm extends pretty far too, so I can pull the phone closer when I’m parked and don’t feel like reaching all the way to the windshield. Only tiny complaint: my dashboard has a slightly textured leather finish and it didn’t like the suction as much there. Moved it to the flat part of the windshield and it’s been perfect ever since. Just clean the spot really well first. Build quality feels expensive. All metal, no cheap plastic creaking. Looks clean, doesn’t scream “Amazon gadget” like half the mounts I’ve tried.
