The media could not be loaded. I have a lousy sense of direction. A car phone holder is a must have for me. My pursuit of quality made me spend a lot of money on it. When I was about to lose hope, I met HTU!! I have been using this phone holder for a week, I don't know how I managed without it. Not only does the holder have the suction and vent types of installation but also adjusts the length of the telescoping arm, the angle, and the direction of the mount. It's definitely worth over $100 if separately calculated! Oh right! The product comes with cable management, it is a great accessory in the car where one end of the cable is permanently connected. How thoughtful!! It's just that I wanted more from it than it was designed for. The terrific design and super easy operation attracted me so much! The release button is on the side of the mount. A slight press can release the phone easily. There is a designated charging port so you can always have your phone charged without the hassle of adjusting cables while navigating. The bottom cradle perfectly matches the phone so that it won't affect the charging port. Got to say, their designers designed a particularly user-friendly product! A decent size, not too big to obstruct the view or not too small for my Samsung galaxy S20. My phone cover is pretty heavy and the holder keeps it intact without moving, as the holder has strong flexible arms to adjust as per your requirements. The car holder can freely rotate at 360 which makes it more convenient to rotate to portrait or landscape. It fits well in both horizontal and vertical vents and is very stable and sturdy. The product's carbon fiber part and the telescopic arm's feeling is sooo awesome! I don't need to worry about scratching my phone any more. The phone also won't slide out. Instantly I fell in love with it!! The jaws grip the phone well and are cushioned with a nonslip material that holds the phone safely and securely. They also taper in on the front edge which means that you don't have to squash your phone in there too tightly to ensure the phone doesn't slip forward. I wanted to install the suction cup in another car, but a sad thing happened, I didn't hold it well and it fell to the ground. So sad... How helpless I was... I didn't know what to do and contact HTU service team through Amazon (sold-by-ask a question). I got the response soon. They told me that the suction cup is reusable and showed me the way to clean and reinstall it. Ask them about any problems you have. They will provide a suitable solution for you. I feel that they have a special attentive service team! If anyone encounters the same issue as mine, try this: clean the suction cup with water - after natural air dry to restore the stickiness - reinstall it. Make sure to clean the installation surface first. I gave my brother an HTU car phone mount as a gift. He loves this product! He said that it looks awesome and the suction cup is strong. Just what he wants! Thanks to HTU, my brother loves me more! Overall, this purchase is sooo surprising and satisfying! The media could not be loaded. Guys, I must say that I LOVE THIS holder. By far, this is the best car phone holder I ever found after trying almost everything on the market. Place the phone in the cradle and squeeze the side arms to secure the phone. There are two enlarged buttons halfway between the bottom of the carrier and the side arms of the carrier. When you wish to disengage the phone, push one or both buttons and the arms will automatically expand to release the phone. I have used other inconvenient mounts where the release tab is only on the left-hand side of the mount which forces me to hold the phone with my right hand and use my left hand to reach behind the steering wheel to release the locking tab. Perhaps the clamps like "wings" is an overstatement, as this phone holder does follow a relatively considerate design. I was very surprised and delighted to discover the side pads that hold the phone are curved slightly inwards. In other phone holders, I've experienced issues where the pads wear out over time and the mechanism must work harder and harder to apply enough force to the phone to hold it in place. On this phone, the side pads curve ever so slightly inwards, so as to provide additional grip to the phone without requiring extra force. What a great design! It securely holds my phone and makes it easy to adjust the phone’s orientation. My phone (average size, LG G5) fits securely inside the bracket and I am not worried about it falling out at all. It also holds my husband's massive iPhone 14 Pro Max. The two side brackets lock it in place, and the quick-release button frees it easily. You can rotate the phone 360 degrees inside the mount, and adjust its rotational angle towards you to better see the phone screen. The mount also has a gap at the bottom so I can insert a charging cable into my phone (a big plus). The extension feature and flexibility to reposition it is awesome! The suction and adhesiveness were strong to hold a heavy phone on the dashboard or windshield alone. I use suction on the windshield and position the extended arm over the dashboard to hold it safely without dropping from the windshield. The front brackets could be redesigned to make it deeper and adjustable as well, with the option to better grab and secure thick and heavy phones. It is the most sturdy and reliable car phone holder to have, especially when driving over bumpy roads. Particularly important in some states where you have to have "HANDS-FREE" operation of the phone unless you wish to possibly ticket for $75 to $400. Just got back from a road trip and treated my car to a full detail and wax. Perfect timing for this mount to arrive, but here’s the catch—it wouldn’t stick to my freshly waxed dashboard. Not even a little. I reached out to customer service since the product advertises a 5-year warranty. They were super helpful and explained that waxed or textured surfaces can block the suction. Fair enough—that’s on me, not the mount. So I switched over to the vent clip and windshield instead, and honestly, both work flawlessly. The grip is solid, my phone doesn’t budge even on rough roads, and the adjustable arm feels sturdy without sagging. Overall, it’s a well-built mount and I’m happy with how it performs in those two setups. Just wish I had known about the wax issue upfront. If your dash is smooth and unwaxed, you’ll be fine. If it’s freshly waxed—skip the dash and go with the vent or windshield. Either way, it’s absolutely worth it! Read more
